Random Thought

Something big has been stuck on my mind and will always is men. Why do men do certain things in life? I've been talking to this guy for a while and I mean I'm not dumb, I see him with other chicks and I hear chicks talk; homie has flocks of groupies. When I tell him to keep his groupies in check, he says (like all guys do), " I don't have groupies or girls, they're all just friends, you're the only person I'm messing with." I don't know if dudes think that girls live under a rock and they don't know the game, but we do. Fellas most chicks are like this; if you're not my man and we're just messing around and nothing else, why do you feel the need to lie? Even though I'm not dating you, that would make me so mad to know that you're lieing to me for no reason. So fellas explain to me why do you lie for small things?

My Top Artists For the Summer

Summer is in full affect and we all know the best thing about the summer is the music of course. We listen to all types of music that corresponds with our mood at the moment; love songs, depressed songs, party songs, hard core songs, etc. We also always have some top artists and songs that we always listen to on a daily bases. Like for instance, if I right now go on my IPod and look at my top 25 most played songs, this would be my list:

Pretty Wings - Maxwell
Part of the List - Ne-Yo
Make Me Over - Keyshia Cole
Green Light - Beyonce
Grub On - Trey Songz
Brand New - Trey Songz
La Tortura- Shakira
Upstairs - Trey Songz
Slow Junking - Young Steff
She Ain't My Girl - Trey Songz feat. Sammie
Your Heels - Day 26
Break Up To Make Up- Jeremih
Daddy's Home - Usher
Panty Droppa - Trey Songz
Neighbors Know My Name - Trey Songz
Drop It Low - Ester Dean feat. Chris Brown
Missing You - Trey Songz
Everything to Me - Monica
Broken Hearted Girl - Beyonce
Does He Do It- Trey Songz
Pretty Girl- Wale
Fed Up - DJ Khaled
If I Were A Boy - Beyonce
Yo Side of the Bed - Trey Songz

Yes I know I listen to a lot of Trey Songz lol, but who doesn't. Now if you check your 25 most played on your IPod, would you be surprised on what it had on it. My brother always told me that you can always tell who a person is by checking their 25 most played songs; I really wonder if that's true....

Anyways, besides those songs, I always enjoy listening to couple of artists and their albums that I think everybody should be rocking to on their I Pod also.

Starting with my ultimate favorite that if you don't already have him on your IPod then you
should just jump off a cliff ( I'm just kidding), Trey Songz. His new album which came out last year so it's not that new anymore, 'Ready' is still must have. It has baby maker songs and songs that you can really relate to, and of course the club banger 'Say Ahhh'. Also while rocking to 'Ready,' everybody needs to have the mix-tape 'Anticipation'. Trey released 'Anticipation' a couple of weeks before the album to have us "anticipating" for 'Ready'; which I must say it had a lot of us doing just that. My favorite songs on the album are 'Black Roses' and 'Yo Side of the Bed';when I first heard 'Yo Side of the Bed' I cried and I think I just fell right back into love with Trey Songz (which I never even fell out of love with him so yea). So, be sure yall cop that :).

**SN: Trey Songz will be going on tour with Monica called the Passion,Pain,Pleasure Tour ( just sounds very sexy like Trey doesn't it),starting in August, so be sure to cop some tickets. Go to
treysongz.com (or just click on the link) to check him out in a city near you.

Drizzy Drake just dropped his debut album earlier this summer titled 'Thank Me Later' which I must say that we surely did. It was the album that we all were
waiting for since like2008 from Drake and he did deliver. It has all the songs that we have been rocking to from Drake like 'Find Your Love' and 'Over'; my favorites on the album I must say are 'Fireworks' featuring Alicia Keys and 'Thank Me Now'. Drake has songs featuring Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Jay-Z, Swizz Beatz, and The Dream. So, also if you don't have that make sure yall get the ASAP.

I'm happy to say that Eminem is back and in full affect. His new album is still on the top of the Billboard Charts and songs are just killer. 'Recovery' has like
song for almost everybody to relate to, and I think he really put his all on this one. My favorite song on the album would have to be Eminem's new song that is all over the radios 'Love the Way You Lie'; it's something that I can relate to so much it's amazing. This by far I believe Eminem's best album so go get it if you haven't yet.

Getting off of albums for a second now to tell yall about a mix-tape that I've been hooked on for
the past couple of weeks, 'Fan of a Fan' by Chris Brown and Tyga. Real good album, they even got everybody saying 'Deuces' which is also one of my ultimate favorite song off the mix-tape. It's a real hot mix-tape and it kinda shows Chris Brown in a more mature aspect I must say. You can download the mix-tape online :).

Through all the drama and bull that Rick Ross has been through this year, he has finally dropped his album 'Teflon Don'. Now I must say that I haven't copped the album yet, but
from what I've heard in my brother's car today, it's pretty good. It has a lot of people rocking and talking mad crazy about it. So while yall go and cop that, I'll be sure to go and cop it too.

Some other albums that yall should go and cop that I do love this summer are from B.O.B, Usher, Monica, and Wale. B.O.B. new album is called 'B.O.B. Present: The Adventure of Bobby Ray' which has my favorite song right 'Airplanes'. Usher new album titled 'Raymond vs. Raymond' really tops his last album thank
God. Wale's album 'Attention Deficit' still has me rocking to it til this day; hottest joints on the album to me are 'Freaks' and 'Pretty Girl'. Last but definitely not least, my girl Monica's album 'Still Standing' shows that she's back and she still got it; favorite song on the album of course is 'Everything To Me'. I just love her voice so much, I get chills when I hear her sing.

Some other artists that you should be rocking to on your IPod are Lady GaGa (cause we all go Gaga for some GaGa lol), Katy Perry, Pink, and Nicki Minaj (Cause it's Barbie Bitch!). Now you
can't go a single summer or day without listening to the beautiful Alicia Keys. She'll be gone for a while with a baby on the way, so we need to enjoy all the beautiful music that she has left us with so far. Lastly of course the new how ish on the block Mr. J. Cole. If you don't know who he is then you need to get up to date with this dude. He's like the next Drake. Check his new song out there 'Who Dat' and my favorite from 'Lights Please', they are some real bangers. I am sure yall will truly love this dude.

NFL News

Baltimore Ravens safety Ed Reed stated earlier this week that he will begin the season on the PUP (physically unable to perform) list which will keep him out for the first 6 games. If he stays on the PUP list when the season starts, his first game back will be against the Buffalo Bills on October 24. Reed had off-season hip surgery.

"I'm going to be on the PUP list for a minute, and I'm not letting them take me off like they did last time without telling me," Reed said Wednesday in an interview with 105.7 The Fan, according to the Times. "I'm just rehabbing. It's a slow process. I'm going to get out there when I feel good. I can't give you a date. I don't know."

Quarterback JaMarcus Russell has pleaded not guilty for possession of illegal drugs on Tuesday in Alabama. He has been charged with felony possession of a controlled substance, codeine syrup also known as sizzurp, lean, purple drank, whatever lol. Police has stated that he did not have prescriptions for them and that he was arrested on July 5th at his home during a undercover investigation; he was released on $25K bound.

The Oakland Raiders released Russell in May due to 3 very very disappointing seasons and also filed grievance on Russell to pay them back $9.55 million in which they paid him in advance for the 2010-2012 seasons.

Wide receiver Terrell Owens is unfortunately still a free agent and seeking for a team. Sad to say that I think he might as well just give up and find another day job.

Brett Favre still has not decided if he is coming back or not. Minnesota Vikings head coach Brad Childress met with Favre but still has not set a deadline for his decision. Favre injured his ankle during the NFC Championship game and had surgery on it. He again is working out with Oak Grove High School near his home to see if he is ready for another season. So, don't anticipate a decision until maybe when pre-season is almost over.

Titans fans can finally take a breather, Chris Johnson will making it to training camp this season. Johnson will be receiving $2.5 million this season under his new revised contract.

NBA News

New Orleans Hornets guard Chris Paul has requested a trade. He states that he wants tot go to a team that has a chance to win a title. On top of his list are the Orlando Magic, Portland Trailblazers, New York Knicks, LA Lakers, and the Dallas Mavericks; on top of his list are the New York Knicks who just signed Amar'e Stoudemire earlier this month. Paul fired his former agent earlier this off-season and hired LeBron James agents. Paul also stated that James' decision to go to Miami has really inspired him go to a team that already has the potential to win. Paul has two more years left on his contract so I personally don't think that this will happen any time soon.

Amar'e Stoudemire will not be trying out for the 2012 Olympics because of issues insuring his contract.

LeBron James, Chris Paul, and Dwyane Wade are set to visit Team USA for the Championship. All the players from the Redeem Team has all said no to play in the 2010 World Championship in Turkey. They all are still on the roster for the 2012 Olympic team. The roster has been cut from 22 to 20 and the boy Kevin Durant is on top of the leaders chart.

Tracy McGrady worked out for the Chicago Bull and are talks of signing with them. The only issue of the whole thing is T-Mac's health; the Bulls may not sign him due to health issues. The 31 year old is also in talks with the Clippers.

Guard Carlos Arroyo has agreed to sign with the Miami Heat and help them win the title. The Heat are soaring with sales in merchandises and tickets. Season starts in like 3 months.

NBA News

LA Lakers center Andrew Bynum has pushed back his knee surgery for July 28. He suffered a meniscus tear in his right knee during game 6 of the Playoffs against the Oklahoma City Thunder; he did miss a single Playoff game due to the injury. He has had the knee drained 3 times already, twice during the post season and once after the Lakers parade. Bynum says that he plan on working with the Lakers trainer after his surgery in LA and in Vancouver to get his core strength stronger so he can prevent more knee injuries in the near future.

Bynum has had a great season averaging 15 points and 8.3 rebounds per game. Unfortunately the 22 year-old has missed more than 90 games in the three seasons. Hopefully after this surgery and training he won't have anymore knee injuries any time soon in the future.

This week on twitter forward Matt Barnes tweeted that he will sign with the Toronto Raptors. The Raptors were trying to do a sign and trade with Magic to make things official, but unfortunately it did not happen due to the fact the Magic could not give the money that Barnes wanted so the whole deal flopped. Now Barnes is back on looking for another team and still in the running for Barnes are the Boston Celtics, Miami Heat, Cleveland Cavaliers, LA Lakers, and of course still the Toronto Raptors.

Barnes is a good player but he is too busy looking for the money instead of the wins. I guess to him if he wins a Championship along the way, then that's a bonus to him as long as his money is right. Barnes need to really chill out and let his game make the contract with the teams; when you play good teams will give you the contract that you deserve.

**P.S. to all the people that may think I'm hating, I'm not. I love Matt Barnes and I think that he's a really good player and I would love to have him on my team.

Even though Matt Barnes will not be coming back to Orlando next season, Magic fans should not worry at all. The Orlando Magic has went out and resigned guard J.J. Redick and acquired free agent forward Quentin Richardson.

The Miami Heat has finally signed Juwan Howard; he becomes the 12th player that Miami Heat has under contract this season and the 6th new face on the team. Howard said he thrilled that he finally gets to play with the Heat. For people that don't know, in 1997, the Miami Heat and Howard agreed to a 7 yr/ $100 million contract but was voided by the NBA because the Heat went over their salary cap.

So right now the Heat's new roster looks like this so far with Juwan Howard, Chris Bosh, Udonis Haslem, Joel Anthony, Jamaal Magloire, Zydrunas Ilgauskas, and rookie Dexter Pittman, Dwyane Wade, LeBron James, Mike Miller, Mario Chalmers, and James Jones. The next player that the Heat wants to get is guard Carlos Arroyo who started in 35 games for the Heat last season. I just hope that the Heat also sign rookie Da'sean Butler who the Heat drafted with the 42nd overall pick of the 2010 NBA Draft.

The New Big Three

There's a new big three in town, LeBron James, Chris Bosh, and Dwyane Wade. They all signed late last night and now the pen they signed with will be auctioned online. The contract has been set and LeBron and Bosh has signed a bigger contract than Wade. LeBron and Bosh contract are for 6 years and worth $110.1 million, while Wade's contract is 6 years and worth about $107.5 million.

LeBronsaid last night at the Welcome to Miami Party that it felt right to be wearing a Heat jersey and that he's going to show the world that the heat was on. He also has promised to bring Miami about like 7 titles; I'm just saying can we just start with 1? Bosh seems as if he just loves the city so much, he's been learning Spanish to role whit the big dogs out here in Miami; now he just needs to learn creole lol.

Now that the 3 KINGS signed their contract, the Heat must go out and finish signing others to complete the rest of the team. The Heat are now talking to Derek Fisher and they need to get Udonis Haslem back also. You can't have a Heat team without Miami native Udonis :( . Lastly, Eric Spoelstra will be Miami's head coach for next season and future; Pat Riley will not be coming back to coach, nobody wants Pat to come back and coach.

P.S. Cleveland I understand that it hurts so much to know that LeBron will not be playing for you guys next year, but grow up! It was going to happen eventually; he wants to win and unfortunately with Cleveland he didn't see it happening. Also when you hail someone as much as you guys did and put everything on his shoulders, he's going to leave to take the pressure off of him.

Personally I believe even though the Heat has LeBron, Wade, and Bosh they still have very big competition. The Lakers are still stronger and better than ever and the Chicago Bulls have been really pumping up their roster.

The Bulls just recently signed Carlos Boozer and Kyle Korver while they still have Derek Rose and Joakim Noah. The Lakers have the same roster but are working to get back Fisher and recently signed Stave Blake. So, to get that title the Heat must beat the Bulls and Lakers. Lets see what happens :) .

NBA Free Agency Part 3

As we all know unless you've been living under a rock, LeBron James is joining Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade in Miami. LeBron announced his choice last night on ESPN, which didn't make a lot of people happy. Miami fans of course were so excited about the news while other places, not so much. Knicks fans were very disappointed while Cavs fans took it way overboard. Cavs owner wrote a real long letter to the fans of Cleveland and wrote how he felt; fans were so mad that they started burning LeBron's jersey also.

Me being a Heat fan, I'm very excited but also sad because to afford Bosh, Wade, and James, the Heat had to trade Michael Beasley :(... it hurt so much to hear the news. I just hope Beasley comes back when his contract is over.

Now the Heat have to agree on new deals for each player and sign the rest of the team. The only person on the current roster is only Mario Chalmers. Also if you are currently living in Miami, the Heat will be having a party at the AAArena for free for all fans.

In other news, David Lee was traded to the Golden State Warriors for 6 yr/80 mill.

I will definitely keep yall posted on the whole signing deals with Wade, Bosh, and James.

MIAMI IS STILL WADE COUNTY!!!

NBA Free Agency Part 2

From the last time I spoked about NBA free agency, so much has happened. I can say personally to my experience that this is the best off season in NBA History that I know of.

Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh will be signing with the Miami tomorrow when all free agents are able to sign. Great news for me since of course I am a Heat fan and I wanted Wade to come back; now he's bringing a great player, Bosh with him to help him bring back the title in Miami. Bosh and Wade stated that this was the best possible decision that they could make for their career. Now they both have stated that they are willing to receive lesser money to bring a certain person down to Miami with them.

Today at 9 pm the most anticipated news in sports history will be announced; LeBron James will finally decide which team he will be going to. In the words of an analyst on ESPN (can't remember which) stated; "LeBron has asked 6 women to the alter and he will be telling 5 of them that they will have to marry another man." I honestly do believe that LeBron will be either going to the Knicks, Bulls, or Heat. With the Bulls, LeBron will be joining Joakim Noah, Derrick Rose, and now Carlos Boozer who just agreed to sign with the Bulls also. Amar'e Stoudemire just signed a huge contract with the New York Knicks and of course the Knicks I believe are still in talks with David Lee. Of course the Miami Heat (my team), are about to sign not only Dwyane Wade but also Chris Bosh; with those three we all know it's gonna be a wrap and sorry Lakers but just hand us the title :). But we all must wait until tonight at 9 pm. Make sure y'all watch.

In other news, Paul Pierce and Ray Allen have agreed to stay with the Celtics. Also Joe Johnson will agree to sign the max contract with the Atlanta Hawks. And finally like I said Dirk Nowitzki will be staying with the Dallas Mavericks. Jermaine O'Neal will be signing with the Celtics and will be leaving the great Miami Heat; good luck homie :).

Stepping out of free agency, Kevin Durant announced on twitter that he will be signing a 5 year extension with the Oklahoma City Thunder.

I will still keep yall posted on the LeBron James news. Be sure to watch ESPN tonight at 9 pm to here for yourself where LeBron James will be playing next season; will it be Chicago Bulls, Miami Heat, Cleveland Cavaliers, New Jersey Nets, New York Knicks, and the L.A. Clippers.

*Today is the official signing day for all free agents.

Chris Brown

I'm been having this issue since the BET Award was over....

As we all know and most likely saw, Chris Brown killed it when he performed his tribute to Michael Jackson on Sunday. And we all saw when he burst into tears during his performance.

Now my issue is a lot of shows that I've seen like E! and TMZ all are saying it was a publicity stunt. All I gotta say to that is FU!!!!

Yes we know Chris Brown f*** up and most of us are really over it, and that was something we all were anticipating. So people stop hating and let this boy live his life already. We all make mistakes and he made one too he's human get over it. Rihanna moved on not let him move on. Besides even if he becomes big again or whatever, it's not gonna stop Rihanna from selling (it's like she has been anyways).

Chris Breezy did a great performance and that's all that matters. Don't be haters, be supporters :)

NBA Free Agency

NBA Free Agency started today and now let the games begin!

This year's free agency list is one of the biggest in NBA history. Some players on the block are LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, Joe Johnson, Dirk Nowitzki, Carlos Boozer, and Amar'e Stoudemire. Of course everything is revolving around what LeBron is going to do. During the past couple of weeks LeBron, Wade, Bosh, and Johnson has all met together to discuss where they will be going.

LeBron said his decision will come sometimes around the week of July 5th and nothing longer (thank God). He will be talking to many teams in the next two days such as the Clippers, Bulls, Knicks, and of course the Cavaliers. I really do hope that he stays in Cleveland; everything he knows and loves technically lives in Cleveland. Also if the Cavaliers do sign Byron Scott as there head coach or any coach who was a former player, then LeBron really most likely stay since that's what he wants.

Dwyane Wade as we all know of course will stay in Miami, he's said it before and I'm confident he will. Thankfully the Heat has so much money now since we technically only have Beasley on contract right now, so they can afford another big name to play along Wade for next season. Pat Riley right now is talking to Boozer, Stoudemire, and Johnson to come down to Miami; I think he should also talk to Bosh. Bosh in Miami would be real big.

The Atlanta Hawk has offered Joe Johnson a contract that would be worth like $100 million. Most likely I see Johnson going back to Atlanta, which I don't see why. The Hawks still has Horford and Smith who killed it last season and are only getting better.

Now my issue with Stoudemire and Nowitzki is that I feel like they're doing this free agency thing just so they can get more money by the team that they're already in.

In other news, Paul Pierce has opted out of his contract because he wants a new and better contract with the Celtics. So the Celtics has to negotiate a contract with Pierce and Ray Allen who is also on the free agency list this season. Not to mention head coach Doc River most likely will be coming back for another season and miss his son play ball for his senior year. Did I mention his son his the high school basketball player in the state of Florida and his father has not seen him play not a single game.

This will be very interesting to see what happens and I pray that whatever Miami does, it does not involve losing Michael Beasley, Udonis Haslem, or Mario Chalmers in the process.

Yall know I will keep yall updated on twitter and on my blog :)

John Wooden

As we all know we lost one of the greatest coaches in basketball history on Friday...John Wooden passed away at the age of 99. For people that don't know who Coach Wooden is (you should be ashamed) he was the former head coach of UCLA and won 10 NCAA Championships in 12 years. He is also inducted in the Basketball Hall of Fame twice as a player in 1961 and as a coach in 1973. He has coached some of the greatest players that have ever played in the NBA such as Bill Walton and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. He also received the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2003 (which is the highest honor for civilians). In 2006 he was recognized as one of the impact on college basketball and became a member of the founding class of the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame along with Bill Russell, Oscar Robertson, Dean Smith, and Dr. James Naismith.

Rick Reilly of ESPN wrote; "He never made more than $35,000 a year salary (not including camps and speaking engagements), including 1975, the year he won his 10th national championship, and never asked for a raise."

Every February 29, UCLA celebrates John Wooden Day...I think that should be a national day personally (Obama make that happen).

So as we lost a great coach, we will never forget his legacy as one of the...well the greatest coach in college basketball history.

"Talent is God given. Be humble. Fame is man-given. Be grateful. Conceit is self-given. Be careful." - John Wooden (1910-2010)

Final Four

Today the Final Four finally begins.. this is something I've been since like forever. This is my first year actually being into college ball and this season didn't disappoint. March Madness has been a real madness this year.

To sum it up really simple, everybody believed that Kansas was going to win it all, but they lost in the second round against Northern Iowa 97-99. After they lost most people, including me, thought that Kentucky would be next to win it all. Yet again no Kentucky loses in the Elite 8 against West Virginia 73-66. So now the teams that are left to compete in the Final Four are West Virginia, Duke, Baylor, and Michigan State.

Butler will be playing against Michigan State tonight at 6 and West Virginia will be playing against Duke tonight around 8:30.

Since my team to win Kentucky is out, I'm gonna go with who ever wins between West Virginia and Duke. For some reason I feel like I'm the only Duke fan that doesn't go to Duke or isn't and alumni. Between Butler and Michigan State, I really want Michigan State to win just cause I don't really like Baylor, they're really starting to annoy me personally. Also I would love for Michigan State to show them that just cause you're playing in your hometown doesn't mean that you're going to win.

So make sure yall check it out, tonight starting at 6 on CBS.

NBA MVP

NBA season is almost over and the talks for MVP are in the works.

My nominees for MVP this year are: LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant, Carmelo Anthony, Dwyane Wade, and Dwight Howard. A lot of people may not like my nominees, but these players have been really putting it in this season. LeBron James is the leading scorer and Cavs fans will agree with me, without LeBron the Cavs are really nothing. Kobe Bryant has been killing it with a broken finger and when you watch him, you would never know that his finger was broken; on top of that he's been playing since 1996, but he is still in his prime. Kevin Durant is the second leading scorer in the NBA and giving LeBron a run for his money; because of KD playing great basketball, the Thunder are in 5th place making it the first time in the Playoffs since like forever. Carmelo Anthony is 3rd for leading scorer and always plays to the fullest. Dwyane Wade whenever he plays, you know he puts his heart and soul out there. Last but not least Dwight Howard, he leads the league in most blocks and most steals and ever season he just gets more and more athletic.

They all are great but only one can win and my winner for MVP this season is of course LeBron Jame. LeBron has been really proving this year that he deserves the award, but I do believe that Kevin Durant is still giving him a run for his money. Every time I watch a Thunder game, I already know that KD will not disappoint. Almost every game KD scores 20+ this which is crazy and did I mention that the Oklahoma City Thunder are 5th place in the Western Conference.

After LeBron and KD it really doesn't matter who comes next but here is how I would rate them:

1. LeBron James
2. Kevin Durant
3. Kobe Bryant
4. Dwight Howard
5. Carmelo Anthony
6. Dwyane Wade

MVP is usually not announced until like the Conference Finals, so lets just sit and wait to see if my picks are correct or not.

What Should I Do

Okay I know some people may get mad at me for talking about this but so what I need some opinions.

One of my best friend since like the sixth grade was very pissed off today about a situation, at first she didn't want to tell but please like she could keep anything away from me. Anyways she was telling me about this other girl who she is close to was supposedly raped by someone that I knew. I was shocked to hear this and I wanted to call the police and everything. She continued to tell me that when her father found out she called up the girl and asked if it was true because he was going to call the police. The girl was quick to say no it wasn't true and ever since then she doesn't answer my friends phone calls or text messages. Every time she sees him, she always runs the other way and tries to hide from him.

I was very pissed at first when I heard of this since I use to talk to him and it made me think like what if I continued to talk to him, would that have been me. While I was in class, I kept thinking about the situation and I started to not believe her more and more. I mean she's the type of girl that gets around (if you know what I mean), and they both do have history with each other. On top of that I did talk to the guy for almost a full year before I decided that it wasn't worth it and he was not that type of guy at all. It really makes me wonder if he changed from that time and now or is she just ling. On top of that he does have a girlfriend and she has a boyfriend.

I feel as if it was consensual, but then she realized what she did and I guess he didn't want to be with her and she was pissed about it and said he raped her...idk...Now I'm confused and frustrated about the whole situation and I don't know what to do about it. I feel as if I should go and talk to him and ask him what really happened. I know we don't talk at all, but I mean I still care for him. Then I feel as I should talk to someone and tell them about it. I'm very confused and I don't know what to do..what do yall think I should do...What would yall do if stuck in this situation.

My Dream Team

So the other I was hanging out with my brother watching the Magic beat the Cavaliers..in which the boy Dwight Howard had another double-double with 22 points and 16 rebounds (GO DWIGHT!)...anyways while we were watching the game, we were talking about who we would like to be on our dream team. I thought long and hard ( since that game was played last month) and this would be my dream team as I think about it right now:

My starting five would be:
At point New Orleans Hornets Chris Paul, after Jason Kidd of course to me, Chris Paul is the best point guard. At guard L.A. Lakers Kobe Bryant, he's Kobe Bryant need I say more about him. At small forward Cleveland Cavaliers LeBron James, again LeBron James really want me to go into details. Power forward Denver Nuggets Carmelo Anthony, he is one of my favorite players and he is naturally talented; if you see him play, he can play both NBA style and international style which is amazing. And last but surely not least at center Orlando Magic very own Dwight Howard, he's like the first center I have ever seen (in my short life) to be so athletic and of course he is now my favorite player; he's also just 24 and he just keeps getting better each year, and I always enjoy watching him play.

My bench players who are just as great as the starters are Miami Heat (LETS GO HEAT) Dwyane Wade, Wade would have been a starter of course, but a man name Kobe Bryant is still killing it in the league; Wade always gives his blood sweat and tears on the court when he plays (PLEASE DON'T LEAVE MIAMI). Toronto Raptors Chris Bosh, a lot of people out their may have never seen Bosh play or may think I am crazy, but Bosh is very talented and he is one of the greatest players out their right (don't believe watch him play some day). Oklahoma City Thunder Kevin Durant, KD is crazy sick, he averages 29.8 points per and just dropped another 39 points against the Sacramento Kings; on top of all that, he is the future of the league and to me should be consider in the MVP talks this season and of course future years. Utah Jazz Deron Williams, behind Chris Paul (this is my opinion) he is the best point guard, he is very talented and like CP3, they know how to lead their team to victory.

Atlanta Hawks Al Horford, like KD he's also the future of the league and he is very talented; I've been watching him play since his college days with the Gators and to me, he's been getting better and better. Phoenix Suns Amar'e Stoudemire, Amar'e is one of those players that you would love to be on a team with because he is so passionate when he plays and you always see it in his eyes. Utah Jazz Carlos Boozer, when I was making this list, I tried to narrow it down, but I just couldn't take Boozer out; when I watch him play, I always feel as if he's giving it all and he wouldn't mind being back-up as long as he's winning.

Their were some players that I had to think very hard as to if I would actually want them on my team, but then after watching them play, they changed my mind completely. Chicago Bulls Derrick Rose, he's the future leader of his team and has so much talent and dedication which I would love on my team. Miami Heat Michael Beasley, no I didn't pick because he plays for my favorite team, I chose because when I see him play, he has so much talent and the potential to learn so much; when he stays out of trouble and puts his mind and heart into something, you know he can achieve it, and like Dwight, he has a sense of humor that will keep the mood happy ans positive. Sacramento Kings Tyreke Evans, Evans is the future like the others I said and of course he is Rookie of the Year this season; with Kevin Martin gone, Evans is the future leader of the kings just watch.

And last but not least, I know he's not in the NBA just yet, but he is extra extra talented. University of Kentucky John Wall, I mean I was never really into college basketball but watching John Wall play, I can't keep my eyes off the television. He is one of those players that if the rules didn't force him to go to college, he would be in the NBA right now killing it and doing his dance. He averages 22.1 points per game, 5.5 assists per game, and 5.2 rebound per game; and it wouldn't hurt that his team is outrageous with talent and have a great coach. If you never seen him play, trust me you would love to see him do his thing.

Now when it comes to head coaches, that's a whole different story; that would take me about forever to pick the right coach.Anyways, you know who my dream team would be, who would you pick?

Kevin Durant

This may be the best season that Kevin Durant has had so far in his very very very short career in the NBA. It has been outrageous; KD has averaged about 31 points per game in February alone (and the month isn't even over yet), he originally averages 29.9 points per game this whole season making him the leading scorer this season. On top of leading the league in points, he is on a 29 games streak of scoring 25+ points; second in NBA history to do so in one season (Michael Jordan lead with 40 consecutive). He stats in an article with The Oklahoman that he doesn't care for the 25+ points streak, he cares more for a game winning streak. (check out
http://www.bostonherald.com/sports/basketball/other_nba/view.bg?articleid=1235168&srvc=rss for the full story).

A lot of people may not agree with me on this, but I really do think that KD should be considered for MVP this season. I mean he's kind of like the Dwyane Wade of the team. Don't get me wrong, the Oklahoma City Thunder is a really good team (they are number 6 in the West and 10 in the league), but KD is a really big reason that they are up there. I'm not saying he is on top of his game just yet, but he's on his way. He has a lot more years ahead of him, this is just his 3rd year in the league. To think he's doing all of this in only his 3rd season, just imagine his future.

If he is not considered in the MVP race, then I will be very disappointed (even though LeBron will most likely win). I am really looking forward to see KD break MJ's record..Oh and I almost forgot, for all the people out there that thought KD can't shoot...he is the defending champ of H-O-R-S-E in the All-Star Weekend (you have to know how to shoot for that) and he is like I said the league's leading score and it's not from dunking or free throws (he's kind of too small to be dunking on everyone)

If you don't believe me, just check him out...If you don't know who he is (shame on you), still check him out.. number 35 for the Oklahoma City Thunder (formerly known as the Seattle Super Sonics...I know Seattle regretting what there decision right now).

All-Star Weekend

Today is the beginning of the NBA All-Star Weekend, which also marks the half of the NBA season. This year it is in Dallas (as we all know), and will be the biggest All-Star Weekend ever. So, instead of it being in the Dallas Mavericks' arena, it will be taking place in the new Dallas Cowboys Stadium which will take more than 90,000 fans. I wish I lived in Dallas right now just to see how that works out.

Anyways the schedule for the weekend has been released, and everything will kick-off tonight starting with the celebrity All-Star game at 7 on ESPN...after that, the Rookie vs; Sophomore game at 9 on TNT will begin (which so far the Sophomore are on a 7 game winning streak), during halftime, the dunk in will begin...for people that don't know what that is, well it is a competition that will decide who will get the final slot in the Slam Dunk Contest..which is a whole lot better than what they did last year. The two players that will compete in the dunk in are Eric Gordon of the Los Angeles Clippers and Demar DeRozan of the Toronto Raptors..the winner of the dunk in will compete with Nate Robinson, Gerald Wallace, and Shannon Brown in the Slam Dunk Contest (which I'm pissed cause Dwight Howard will not be competing this year).. back to the Rookie vs. Sophomore; the Rookie's roster consist of players suck as Brandon Jennings, Stephen Curry, Tyreke Evans, Omri Caspi, and DeJaun Blair ( pissed again cause my boy Ty Lawson didn't make it) and the Sophomore's roster consist of Michael Beasley, Derrick Rose, Brooke Lopez, Eric Gordon, Russel Westbrook, and O.J. Mayo.

Tomorrow which is my favorite from the All-Star Weekend is when most of all of the fun things take play such as H.O.R.S.E, Shooting Star, Skills Challenge, 3-Point Challenge, and my favorite the Slam Dunk Contest... I love the Slam Dunk Contest so much, it's really the main reason why I watch the NBA..so thank you Vince Carter :-) ... Every thing begins tomorrow at 5pm on TNT.

Then last but not least, Sunday raps everything up with the All-Star Game.. West vs. East, who will win..both sides are stacked with great players, but this year, the West will be playing without Kobe Bryant, and the East will be playing without Allen Iverson (still don't know why he was on the roster anyways)... the West roster consists of Carmelo Anthony, Tim Duncan, Deron Williams, Jason Kidd, Steve Nash, Amr'e Stoudemire, Kevin Durant.. Chris Paul and Brandon Roy are also among Kobe Bryant that will not play for the West this year due to injury...the East roster consists of Dwight Howard, Dwyane Wade, LeBron James, Kevin Garnett, Rajon Rondo, Al Horford, Gerald Wallace..only Allen Iverson will be out. I'm going for the East this year, not only cause I'm from the East, but also because their roster is looking even large than the West.

I just know that this Valentine Day will be a great one for me, it's going to be BOMB!!! (in Dorell Wright's voice lol), so if you are going to watch the Winter Olympics or the Daytona 500 this weekend, make sure yall take a peep at the games this weekend on TNT :-)

SUPER BOWL

This Sunday SUPER BOWL XLIV will finally begin... New Orleans Saints vs. Indianapolis Colts in Miami. I CAN'T WAIT!!!!

This is the Saints first Super Bowl EVER!!! Amazing huh, they truly deserve it including the city of New Orleans, they have been through so much since Katrina. It's amazing to see what a football team can do to a city... The Saints went from the AINTS and now back to the wonderful SAINTS again. Before Katrina hit, the Saints sucked, but after it hit and everybody started coming back, they kept going up and now they are finally in the Super Bowl. Since they are the underdogs in this game, I really want them to win...and because I can already see how that parade will go...it will make Mardi Gras look like s**t.

This is the Colts fourth time in the Super Bowl and a little fun fact, every time they have been to the Super Bowl, it was played in no other than Miami.I mean it really isn't a total shocker that they are in the Super Bowl this season, hello they have Peyton Manning and Pierre Garcon WOW he is going HAM out there right now...coming from a Division III school to being part of one of the best teams in the NFL is AMAZING!!!! But unfortunately, the Colts are going through some injury problems, but I don't think that will stop them from going all in...Since the Colts were here like 2 seasons ago, they already know how Miami works...they are staying in the same hotel as last time, and some of the players are still staying in the same room that they were in when they were here the last time...

As the days get closer the anticipation is driving me crazy...yea media day this season was whack, at least we know that the game shouldn't be whack (hopefully). Halftime performance is the Who.. I know half of the world may not even know who that is, but it's okay cause halftime is the time when everybody refills up on their foods and drinks and go to the toilet and what not lol...

My prediction is that the New Orleans Saints will beat the Indianapolis Colts to a very high scoring game...I know the only games the Colts lost this season were when the Colts benched their starters, but they never played against the Saints this season, so maybe the Saints defense can shut Peyton down the same way they shut down all the other great quarterbacks they played against during the playoffs...

Make sure yall check out the big game on Sunday, February 7, 2010 on CBS at around 6:20

NBA All-Star

The NBA All-Star starters have been announced and one pick is very shocking:

Eastern Conference Starters:

Dwyane Wade
Allen Iverson (WTF)
LeBron James
Kevin Garnett
Dwight Howard

Western Conference Starters:

Kobe Bryant
Steve Nash
Tim Duncan
Carmelo Anthony
Amar'e Stoudemire

The West's starters are great but the East starters well ?... From all the good guards out there that should have been a starter instead of Iverson. I love Iverson, he is a future Hall of Famer, but he doesn't deserve to be a starter. He hasn't done anything yet this season, but go back to the 76ers that's all. This voting is why a lot of people think that the fans shouldn't get the chance to vote. You never get something like this in the Pro Bowl selection smh... Other than that, the East is looking pretty strong, just hope the reserves are better than this. Some of the East players that the coaches should consider are Paul Pierce, Rajon Rondo, Joe Johnson, Jamal Crawford, Shaq, Vince Carter, Rashard Lewis, David Lee, Chris Bosh, Josh Smith, and Gerald Wallace. This is going to be very tough for the coaches to pick, I'm just happy that I won't be picking.

The West's starters are looking very strong, having the leading scorer in the NBA (Melo), the star in the best team in the NBA (Kobe), and a man who dominates in assists (Nash). Now if you think the starters are huge just think about the reserves that need to be chosen. JR. Smith, Chauncey Billups, Chris Kaman, Richard Jefferson, Kevin Durant, Dirk Nowitzki, Brandon Roy, Chris Paul, Deron Williams, Zach Randolph, and Lamar Odom. Good luck :)

Besides the All-Star game (which will be on Valentines Day), the event that I always anticipate to watch, the event that made me fall in love with the NBA is the SLAM DUNK CONTEST. This year unfortunately :( Dwight Howard will not be competing, but Nate Robinson will be there to not disappoint us. Competing with Nate Robinson are Gerald Wallace and Shannon Brown. Now during the halftime of the Rookie vs. Sophomore game, Eric Gordon and DeMar DeRozan will be having a dunk off to see who will take the final spot of the Slam Dunk Contest. I think this way is better because last year's was just stupid; you had the fans pick the players not by how they could dunk, but by their other talents that had nothing to do with dunking. You know I will be watching the Rookie vs. Sophomore game to see who wins and how good they are.

This All-Star may be the biggest one ever. Not because of the players who will be there no, but it will be the place where they will be playing. This years All-Star Weekend will be in Dallas, Texas in the new Cowboys Stadium. The stadium will be holding more than 80,000 fans; that will be the most fans ever to be attending a basketball event. Which means more money for the NBA and Dallas, so its a win win situation for all.

When more information comes along for the All-Star Weekend, I will surely keep yall posted :)

I'm Proud to be a Haitian Dominican

A lot of people never believe me when I tell them my background, they always want to tell me what I am. Even when they try to believe me, they keep asking me so many questions. So this will be the last time I explain my background:

I'm Dominican Haitian a.k.a Domaitian but I was born and raised in Miami. My father and his family was born and raised in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, and moved to the United States once he was 18 years old. My mother and her father was born in Haiti, but her mother was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. My mother moved to the United States when she was 20 years old and married. My parents have been in America for their whole adult life and raised my brother and I in America.

When people see my mother, they just think that she's a white woman who fell in love with a black man, not true. When people see my father, they call him a black man who fell in love with a white woman, again not true. Skin color has nothing to do with what a person is and what person background is. Just because my mother's skin color is white doesn't mean she is automatically a white person, her father had black skin. And just because my father's skin color is black doesn't mean he's from Africa.

I always here people around me speaking Spanish, Creole, or French and when I answer them back in their language, they have this shocked look on their face as if they never met a person that looks like knowing their language. Once I answer them, they always ask me what school did I learn these languages in. When I tell them that my family knew these languages and taught me when I was little, they get even shocked.

People for some reason are so naive that they think that I'm too light to be Haitian and too dark to be Hispanic. Now it seems like everybody I know has accepted the fact that I am Dominican, but they can't seem to accept the fact that I am also Haitian. People always say that they are no beautiful or successful Haitians out there; well hate to burst your happy little bubbles, but that is not true. People need to understand, just because you're Haitian, Dominican, Cuban, Puerto Rica, French, Indian, Mexican, or whatever, it doesn't define what you will be in the future.

So, for the last time I am Dominican Haitian, born and raised in Miami. I am proud of who I am and what I came from, and it will not define who I am or what I will become of myself in the future.

NFL: PLAYOFFS

The NFL season is over, and the Playoffs have begun. The Wild Card is over and the Cowboys beat the Eagles 34-14, Jets beat the Bengals 24-14, Cardinals beat the Packers 51-45 OT, and Ravens beat the Patriots 33-14 to advance to the Divisional Finals. I twas crazy I think the number 14 as big in the Wild Card? lol... anyways, the best game of the Wild Card week would have to be of course to the Cardinals and the Packers; it started off a little whack I gotta say, but at the end of that game it became so interesting. It was a high scoring almost no defense game, the Cards really fought for that win I gotta say. The game that really got me mad was the Jests and Bengals game; the Bengals are way better than the Jets, but I guess the Jets defense really proved why they are the best defense in the league. And the Eagles, OMG! How do you lose against the Cowboys to weeks straight in a row, I was totally in shock. Not mad at all cause I knew that they wouldn't pass the Divisional Finals.

The Cardinals were the last to play in Wild Card and the first to play in the Divisional Finals, so we all really weren't shocked when they lost to the Saints 45-14. Two words I have to say REGGIE BUSH... Reggie KILLED IT during that game, I think that was the first time since his USC days that I could call him a running back. Kurt Warner did get hurt during the 2nd quarter but came back during the second half. Matt Leinart did get to play, and from what I saw Leinart do, I would have kept him in and kept Warner out. Sadly this may have been the last game that Warner will play. So if it is, Kurt you had a great career and even though you last your last game, you still left with a big bang. FUTURE HALL OF FAMER. P.S. please don't be like Brett Favre and say you're not coming back but then you do, that wouldn't be fair to Matt and you know that.

It seems like every home team that had a bye week won; Colts beat the Ravens 20-3, Vikings whooped the Cowboys 34-3, but only one team didn't win and I really wasn't surprised, Jets beat the Chargers 17-14. It was actually very shocking, not the Chargers lost, but that it was the most interesting game from them all. I'm still mad that the Jets are still here; don't get me wrong they are good, but they are not that good. They keep getting lucky and I just want them to lose already.

Now the Conference Championship is beginning and the NFC Finals is looking very interesting, the New Orleans Saints vs. the Minnesota Vikings. Both teams are the truth and this may be a very high scoring game; they both have great defense but their offense are a whole lot better. If the Vikings lose, this may be Brett Favre's last game. I would tell you guys who I want to win, but I can't cause I like both teams and I want both of them to make it to the Playoffs, I just wish that they were both in different Conferences. Thankfully the best game will be on Sunday at 6:20, so that means everybody will be at home and not at church (LOVE THE LORD)... The other game will be the Indianapolis Colts. vs. the New York Jets, which will also be on Sunday at 3:00. Of course we all know who will win this game... sorry New York but the Colts will win. Yes you guys beat them in the regular season, but lets not forget THEY SAT ALL THERE GOOD PLAYERS!!! Jets were losing during the whole game until the Colts decided to sit all there players down, and then you guys finally won. Which means with there starters in, JETS WILL LOSE!!

The games will be on CBS and FOX. I can't wait to see how these games are going to end. I just want to see who are going to the SUPER BOWL already. Which don't forget SUPER BOWL is in Miami on February 7 and the Pro Bowl will also be in Miami on January 31.

Haiti

So as we all know Haiti has gone through the worse earthquake ever and the death toll is estimated to be 50,000 + so far. There are more than 8 million people in Haiti right now that needs help. They are without food, water, a place to sleep, and medical attention. It hurts me to see this happening because not only adults are being killed and injured, but little kids and babies are being also. Being from a Haitian descent and having family still in Haiti just makes this whole situation even harder for me to hear and see.

Thankfully being from such a great country, U.S. has already responded to the disaster and are helping everybody in Haiti.I know a lot of you who read this may think that there is nothing that you can do, but there is always something you can do. The smallest things go a long way.

When going to the grocery store, you can always buy some extra water or non perishable foods. Also when going to the pharmacy, you can buy some first aid kits. When going through all those clothes that you don't wear or all the covers you never use, instead of keeping them there or throwing them away, just donate them. If you don't want to that, giving money will really help restore everything also. Here are some organizations you can donate some money to:

People please help the smallest things really help. God always appreciates the smallest things. Helping others will come back to you in a really good way... GOD BLESS
