Tiger Woods

I just wanted to give people my opinion on all of these Tiger Woods rumors. I think they are ridiculous; I mean damn he's human and every human makes mistakes. Besides, he's rich and famous, groupies are everywhere, so we really shouldn't be surprised that he cheated. He is the best player in golf right now and one of the richest person out there. From what I've heard, he's a very humble guy and knows how to work out his mistakes. Besides this is the first time we've heard his name out their in a bad way.Instead of us trying to put out what we think about him and believing everything that other people say, why don't we just wait and see what happens and what he has to say about. W e should never prejudge until we know the full truth.

Tiger Woods is still the best and without him, golf is nothing. Their ratings will well is going down and the sponsorships that golf tournaments get, will be gone. I mean fuck the marriage at least we know he's still a good father to his kids. I mean yea a marriage is sacred and whatever but if it doesn't work it doesn't work. As long as he's their for his kids, we shouldn't be so hard on him.

Rest In Peace Jasper Howard

UCONN star conerback Jasper Howard was stabbed early Sunday morning and later passed away. Saturday, UCONN won against Louisville 38-25, where Jasper made 11 tackles, forced a fumble and recovered a fumble. Saturday night, Jasper and friends went to a school dance in which someone pulled the fire alarm. While people were outside, a fight broke out, Jasper and another classmate were stabbed.

"I know this, he loved UCONN; he loved his teammates; he loved everything about this." Head coach Randy Edsall stated with his eyes red and welling with tears. Coach Edsall drove to the hospital and had to identify Jasper's body.

"As Jazz looks down on us, I can promise him and his family, that son or daughter will have 105 uncles. And we will do what it takes to not get through this, but to grow from it." Punter and team captain Desi Cullen stated.

Jasper was the first person in his family to go to college and was working hard to get into the NFL. Born in Miami, he has talked about his hard living and how his mother had to work multiple jobs to take care of him and his siblings. The even sad part is that he was going to become a father in which he and the team were excited about.

Jasper made a big play Saturday for the win, he forced a fumble just when Louisville was about to score. After the game, Jasper who led the Big East in punt returns last season, spoke to the AP about the big play.

"I felt my hand go on the ball and I felt that I had a chance to get it out. I just stripped it out. It was a big play. We needed it."

The school has schedule for Jasper mother and two teen sisters to come to Connecticut. Jasper Howard was only 20 years-old. :(

Police still have no suspects and still have not identified the other victim in this case. If you have any information, please contact Connecticut Police at 860-486-4800.

Rest In Peace Jasper Howard, you will be always loved and missed.

Stafon Johnson

USC running back Stafon Johnson was finally released from the hospital. Before leaving the hospital Stafon's doctors, mother, and other family members, had a press conference. Without any hesitation, he gave the cameras a smile. Stafon's mother said that she is happy he is okay and that he is working hard to get back to being normal. She also started tearing up with Stafon when she was talking about the USC fans and organization:

"They sent everything you can possibly think to show Stafon the love, and that meant the world to get us to go along with that process."

Stafon's uncle, Kreg Anderson, read a letter written by Stafon:

"I am just filled with joy, as if I am graduating from one stage of life and on to the next obstacles. I greatly appreciate everything, and at this point, everything counts...This is not the end of anything. This is the beginning of things to come. I'll be back soon. We are fighting on."

Doctors do not know when he will be able to speak; his right vocal cord was torn away from its mooring, and his larynx was separated. When asking the doctors when Stafon will be able to play again, the doctor said that it really depends on Stafon.

"I don't think any physician can tell a player of they're going to play again."

When the doctor was talking, Stafon wrote another message that his mother later read. It had his twitter account and it had a message to his teammate for the game at Notre Dame:

"FIGHT ON. BEAT THE IRISH!"

If you want to follow Stafon Johnson on twitter and show some love, follow him at http://twitter.com/stafon13 ... and for all the facebook people out there be his friend at http://www.facebook.com/people/Stafon-Johnson/3432906 :)
P.S. Stafon if you ever read this..good luck and hope to see you soon on the football field :) Love ya and get well soon.

College Football News

Yet again another great college football weekend, also some more top upsets. This week was the first week of Breast Cancer Awareness Month or how I like to say it Cancer Awareness Month. It started with some great news for the Boston College Football team and fans; junior linebacker, Mark Herzlich was diagnose with cancer. In May, he came out and said that he had Ewing's Sarcoma, which is a malignant tumor that is found in the bone or soft tissue. Then on Saturday during College Game day on ESPN, Mark came out and said that the doctors are 99% sure that he is cancer free. YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is like one the best stories ever this week. In honor of the news, Boston College beat Florida State 28-21.

The Miami Hurricanes played their 4th ranked team this week against the Oklahoma Sooners, it was a great game I must add. Hurricanes QB Jacory Harris had 2 interception in the first half, which was just awful, I honestly thought that they were going to lose the game with all those mistakes the offense was making. Thankfully, the Canes defense was on point keeping the Sooners out of the end zone. Second half came and the Canes were back making touchdowns and winning the game 21-20.

Here are some of the scores from Saturday's games:
  • Alabama 38 Kentucky 20
  • LSU 20 Georgia 13
  • UC Davis 16 Boise State 34
  • Virginia Tech 34 Duke 26
  • USC 30 California 3
  • Oklahoma 20 Miami (FL) 21
  • Ohio State 33 Indiana 14
  • Michigan 20 Michigan State 26
  • Georgia Tech 42 Mississippi State 31

Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom tie the knot

Congratulations to Lamar and Khloe Odom getting married yesterday in front of a star studded 250 guests. Despite dating for only 3 weeks they have officially tied the knot and I am so happy for them. The wedding was rumored to be around $1 million, but I was told that E! payed for everything and of course they filmed everything. I wish someone would pay for my wedding when I get married. Some people believe that the marriage is only for publicity, but I do believe that they got married because they fell in love. I don't really see Lamar Odom as that type of guy looking for publicity, hell he plays for the Lakers. I'm also happy that Khloe has found a man that she can trust and that she doesn't think is as she says 'full of shit'.

Hell who would ave thought that Khloe Kardashian was going to get married before Kim or Kourtney; shocking huh. I guess her mom will finally be off of her back and hop on someone else' back about marriage.

Anyways the guest list for the party was star studded. It looked like an award show, I guess that's what happens when two celebs get married. The guest list included Kobe and Vanessa Bryant, Derek Fisher, Lala Vasquez, Luke Walton, Ron Artest, Baron Davis, Phil Nickelson, Suger Ray Leonard, Babyface, Kenny Smith, and others.

I only wish Khloe and Lamar the best and hope that it lasts longer than anyone expects it to. I just hope Khloe isn't bad luck and the Lakers start losing this season. GO LAKERS!!!!

Week 4 NFL Schedule

Week 3 of the NFL season was a very interesting week, from the Lions winning their first game since 2007 to Brett Favre throwing the winning touchdown pass to Lewis.

Here is the schedule to week 4:
  • Detroit Lions @ Chicago Bears
  • Cincinnati Bengals @ Cleveland Browns
  • Seattle Seahawks @ Indianapolis Colts
  • New York Giants @ Kansas City Chiefs
  • Baltimore Ravens @ New England Patriots
  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Washington Redskins
  • Tennessee Titans @ Jacksonville Jaguars
  • Oakland Raiders @ Houston Texans
  • Buffalo Bills @ Miami Dolphins
  • St. Louis Rams @ San Francisco 49ers
  • San Diego Chargers @ Minnesota Vikings (Sunday night on NBC)
  • Green Bay Packers @ Pittsburgh Steelers (Monday night on ESPN)

***BYE: Atlanta Falcons, Philadelphia Eagles, Arizona Cardinals, Carolina Panthers.

NFL News

It's the end of another week in football, only one more week before the first quarter of the NFL season is over. Week 3 has had some very interesting games and plays, including some more injury reports to add on the already long list:

Michael Vick has finally been reinstated in the NFL and yesterday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs has made it official. Vick was on the field for 11 plays, which included 7 handoffs for 30 yards.

"I think I played fairly well. I made good decisions with the plays I had. I missed one ball across the middle. I think I could have hit that. i have to make sure I keep my arm warm on the sideline so when I go in there I am not cold. My focus was to be smart and not turn the ball over." Vick stated after the game.

Just to see Vick's face yesterday, he looked like a kid in a candy store. I'm happy that he's back and unlike Pacman Jones, we know he will stay out of trouble. Also the Eagles did win against the Chiefs 34-14 and Kolb actually didn't suck this week. The Eagles are on a bye week for week 4 and McNabb will most likely be back for week 5.

Rookie Mark Sanchez is killing it in New York right now. He helped lead the Jets to another victory making them 3-0. Sanchez threw for two touchdown passes in a 24-17 victory against over the Titans. Sanchez has become the first rookie QB to start a season and win his first three games. Sadly the Titans being the best team last season has not even won a single game this season yet. I think this is the time that Coach Fisher needs to put Vince Young back in, just saying.

At least being 0-3 is better than losing against the worst team in the NFL. The Detroit Lions has finally won their first game since 2007, beating the Redskins 19-14. Sadly Detroit fans in Detroit couldn't watch the game and see their team win since they had a BLACKOUT! That's what they get for not having confidence in their team and going to see them play. So Congrats to all the Lions fans that went to the game and saw rookie Matt Stafford lead your team to your first victory since 2007.

Redskins head coach Jim Zorn should be lucky that if they fired him right now, they are losing coaches for three positions. But, it's not all Zorn's fault, it really isn't; you have to look at the GM also, he just buys players not giving the team chance to have chemistry. Unlike basketball, football you really need chemistry to win games and the Redskins has none. Also Campbell is not ready to be a starting QB, he's a good player but he's just not ready. Hopefully they could recuperate next week.

Shout out to Brett Favre with that last second touchdown throw to Greg Lewis. It was the best play of the week I must say. That touchdown helped the Vikings beat the 49ers 27-24, making the Vikings another undefeated team right now. Also in the game, Favre went in for a block, who would have thought he would do that now a days as old as he is. I think Favre with the Vikings is a really good look for him right now. Just wish it happened last season and earlier instead making all of us wait. PUNK!

Here is the remainder of the scores from Sunday:
  • Packers 36, Rams 17
  • Patriots 26, Falcons 10
  • Lions 19, Redskins 14
  • Vikings 27, 42ers 24
  • Jets 24, Titans 17
  • Eagles 34, Chiefs 14
  • Giants 24, Buccaneers 0
  • Ravens 34, Browns 3
  • Jaguars 31, Texans 24
  • Saints 27, Bills 7
  • Bears 25, Seahawks 19
  • Chargers 23, Dolphins 13
  • Bengals 23, Steelers 20
  • Broncos 23, Raiders 3
  • Colts 31, Cardinals 10

Detroit Lions Win First Game Since 2007

The Detroit Lions has finally won their first game since 2007 today against the Washington Redskins 19-14. Congrats to all the Lions fans and so sad to all the Redskins fans. Being a Redskins fan, I am very dissapointed in them right now, how do you lose against the worst team in the NFL?

If I was the coach of that team, forget your day off, I will work each player until they cant be worked anymore. They are so whack right now, the Redskins should have went for Jay Cutler instead of keeping Jason Cambell. Cambell has not done anything in the past seasons he has been here to impress me or to even keep him on the team. The running backs haven't even done crap neither, I mean what happened to the old Clinton Portis? The one that would rush threw anything, he need to come back ASAP. Lets not get started on the receivers; THEY SUCK! Redskins need taller receivers, well let me rephrase that, they need taller veteran receivers. When Plaxico Burress comes back, don't hesitate just sign him.

I can't really say anything about the defense but, HOW THE HELL DO YOU LET THE LIONS SCORE ON YOU? You guys just paid so much money for Albert Haynesworth, what you thought he could only make the defense better? I think not, it takes the whole defense to make plays not just one player. PUNK! Yall lucky I aint the GM cause if I was, coach Zorn bye, offensive coordinator bye, defensive coordinator on thin ice. I would be cutting players from left to right and bringing in new players. UGH Redskins yall just make me sick.

Anyways, congrats to the Lions winning their first game since 2007. Congrats to Matthew Stafford for winning his first game in the NFL. Now Lions fan can say that they wont be defeated two years in a row. I know in Detroit they are celebrating like they won the Super Bowl.lol.

***Redskins are officially off my favorite teams list until further notice.

College Football

It's the end of another college football week and the standing has changed yet again. Still on top is the Florida Gators of course winning yet again against University of Kentucky 47-7. On a scary note, Florida QB Tim Tebow, got a concussion in the 3rd quarter keeping him out for the rest of the game. This injury will result in a doctor allowing him to play instead of Tim or the coach saying it's okay; but Gator fans no need to worry because your next game is not until 2 weeks, so Tim has enough time to get better.

Many teams in the top 10 ranking this week lost; Penn State, University of Miami, Mississippi, and California. Other teams that were not ranked, has been ranked this week; Oregon, Iowa, and Georgia Tech.

Here is College Football's ranking after week 4:
    1. Florida
    2. Texas
    3. Alabama
    4. LSU
    5. Boise State
    6. Virginia Tech
    7. USC
    8. Oklahoma
    9. Ohio State
    10. Cincinnati
    11. TCU
    12. Houston
    13. Iowa
    14. Oklahoma State
    15. Penn State
    16. Oregon
    17. Miami (FL)

  • Michigan @ Michigan State
  • LSU @ Georgia

MICHAEL BEASLEY IS BACK!!!!!!!!!!

Today was the first day back for Michael Beasley to the Heat camp. This is like the best day to me, I've been waiting forever for this day to come. For people that didn't know where he was for the past month that have been living under a rock, he went to a rehab in Houston, Texas to address a drug problem that he was facing.
Now that is over and he is back, the best thing about all of this, is that the Heat never gave up on him no matter what. Coach Eric Spoelstra and other coaches went to visit Michael while in rehab and working with him.
"We want to bring him back to the family, bring him back in here. We're 100 percent behind him. We've invested in him, not just financially but emotionally. We've spent a great deal of time with him this summer, trying to develop him on the court but also off the court. He's ready. He was excited to be back here. We have great structure here within the franchise and I think what the NBA and everybody saw is that we're 100 percent behind him. We are with him every step of the way and we're expecting great things from him this year." stated by coach Spoelstra.

Michael was not available for comment Monday. No specifics about his treatment have been released, with either the Heat and the people close to Michael citing privacy concerns. He will be with the team when training camp opens officially on Tuesday, September 29. Other players kept in touch with him during the past month through text messages and Twitter.
"I have no concern at all. He's working out,he's staying in shape, he's keeping himself sharp. It's not like he doesn't know the plays and with Beas, if all else fails, he'll shoot it. So he'll be fine when he gets back. stated by Heat forward and captain Udonis Haslem.

Through everything that Michael has been through, team president Pat Riley, coach Spoelstra, and many teammates have stated that Mike is still valued. no matter what others think about him (haters), the Heat still has his back 100 percent of the way. Can I say that this is one of the best organization in the NBA that will always be there for you.
During the summer coach Spoelstra said that Mike was filled with plenty of on-court 'work development.' Before going to Houston, he spent about two months working with the Heat. Since the end of last season, he has gotten faster and added 10 pounds of muscle while maintaining a low body fat. H e also has already taken a team conditioning test and 'blew it away....he's in phenomenal shape.' YEA BUDDY!!!
"Physically, you'll see he looks different, He's just bigger. When you talk about a guy who's that talented, and then you really start to develop the fundamentals and the details of his game, you see dramatic improvement in a short period of time. That's exciting." coach Spoelstra.
The Heat are planning to ask Mike to play bigger roles also. I guess that trip to rehab only helped to make him better, and unlike some people who go to rehab, it ended for the better and not the worse for him. I'm just so happy that he is back. I miss his playful smile and how you can tell he is having fun on the court with his gorgeous green eyes (can't lie, I have the biggest crush on that man lol..sshhhh don't say anything).

WELCOME BACK MICHAEL!!!!!! :)

To all the haters out there also, the tatt is still sexy and Beas still is the best.. HATERS!!

Touchy Subject: Close To My Heart

I know that this has nothing to do with sports or music or whatever, but this is something that is dear to my heart. It is sad to say that parents are sending their kids to school thinking that it is safe but then not knowing if they are coming home safe or even alive.

In the past week, Miami has had multiple incidents in which kids are bringing weapons to school. So far about 8-9 students have been arrested so far. Sadly one student has died and another in stable condition.

Here is some stories:

In a high school on Tuesday, two students 17 year-old Juan Carlos Rivera and 17 year-old Andy Rodriguez, got into an altercation which led to a fight, which then led into a fight. During the fight, Rodriguez pulled out a knife and stabbed Rivera 3 times; 1 in the upper back, 1 in his chest, and 1 to the kidneys. After Rodriguez ran off leaving Rivera on floor to die. Sadly many kids were out there just seeing him die slowly and painfully. You want to know why they fought, for a girl. The saddest thing is that Rivera came to America 5 months ago and living with his grandmother and uncle. His mother had to fight with the government in Cuba to allow her to come here and bury her own son. A mother has not seen her son in 5 months and now the last she will see him is dead.

On Thursday, police has cracked down on 7 different schools arresting kids with guns, knives, and tazers, but don't think it's only high school, no middle school students, even elementary.

On Friday, shots were fired at another high school in a bathroom. This one was more scary just because I was there. When a teacher went to the restroom to see what had happened, he found the gun and accidentally shot another round. The sad part of it all is that, the cops still do not know who it was. But not only did they find one gun, they found two. Two guns and not knowing who they belong to or why were they brought to school.

Last but not least, also on Friday, two middle school kids got into a fight at a park for I don't know what reason, and one pulled out a very very large knife. Did I mention they are only 12 year-old and 13 year-old boys. The 12 year-old pulls out a knife and stabs the 13 year-old in the back and also injuring himself with it. The poor boy was airlifted to the hospital with the knife still stuck to his back. Luckily the boy is in stable condition. The sad thing in this is that a little boy will be charged with attempted murder.

Kids are losing there futures each and everyday, either by going to jail or by getting killed. The thing about it is that you can't blame the schools or the parents, because if a child wants to carry a weapon they will. I blame whom ever is giving these kids these weapons. But, you can blame the parents if they are leaving their weapons out in the open for they kids to just go out and take it. The sad thing about it is that this is not over yet in Miami, I guarantee you that.

R.I.P Juan Carlos Rivera...you will truly be missed :(

Kanye West

As we all know or saw..Kanye West made an ass of himself at the VMA. I've been wanting to keep this to myself, but I can't anymore.

Yes we all know what Kanye did was heartless and a dick move, but lets be real with ourselves, it's not the first time he has done this. Hello we all remember when Hurricane Katrina hit and Kanye was on live television saying (and you can't forget), 'GEORGE BUSH HATES BLACK PEOPLE.' Or when he didn't win during the VMA and Grammy's he said he was robbed and that he was not coming back ( that was during the VMA). So why are we shock that he did this again. He's and arrogant man and we know this. I just can't stand how everybody wants to strike his music and all that other crap. We all know that Kanye is one of the best rappers out right now, so once he drops something good, we all are going to go out and buy it anyways.

Besides we all know that he does most of this because we allow him to. We never really say anything and the people on TV never stops him. So, he's not going to stop until the people around him stops condoning it and the executives on TV tells him enough is enough. I'm not saying that what he did wasn't wrong, but that he was expressing his opinion, just at the wrong time. I mean I totally agree with him that Beyonce had the best video of all time, hell she's the best, and we all know that; a simple award is not going to change that. At least he apologises and knows that what he did was wrong. So, that means he is on his way of changing a little bit..lol.

Ohh and Shout out to Beyonce for being the bigger person in the whole thing. And that is why she the best and will be the best for a long time. :)

Do you guys remember former Detroit Lions Charles Rogers who got arrested and fucked up his NFL career and went to rehab. Do you remember when he was on Outside The Lines and said he was ready to change and become a better man. Well all that went down the drain when the idiot got arrested and charged on Thursday for driving while intoxicated and not having a valid driver's license; which is a 93 day misdemeanors. Novi police were called around 2 p.m. Wednesday, where cops said Rogers was found 'unresponsive' behind the wheel that was running and in gear. Police reported in a statement on Thursday that they smelled liquor on his breath, and he also failed the sobriety test. He failed to take a Breathalyzer test, and his blood was taken after a judge signed a warrant.

People like Charles just makes me sick. You do something wrong, you go on TV or whatever and promise to change. You then get a chance from society and then you go and mess it up doing something so dumb. They say that they learned from the past. Well if you did, then why are you going out and doing the same thing or something in the sort. Just reminds me of Adam Pacman Jones, you get so much chances but you just spit in our faces. Whatever he gets right now as punishment or in the future, he deserves. WHAT A PUNK.

NBA News

It has been said that the 2009-2010 NBA season will be without the original referees that we see every season. The refs has rejected the NBA's new contract offer so the NBA will begin with replacements starting next week. A statement from the NBA this morning made it clear the lockout was under way:

"It's extremely disappointing that the NBRA has ignored the economic realities, rejected our offer and left us with no choice but to begin using replacement referees." Stated by executive vice president and general counsel Rick Buchanan.

Training camp was set to begin on Sunday, but was pushed back into sometimes next week to give the NBA time to get the replacements and to get them in New Jersey. The league has began contacting replacements last Wednesday, the day after the last meeting with commissioner David Stern, which he abruptly ended because he the officials reneged on a previously agreed to proposal.

The contract between the NBA and the officials expired September 1, and the sides has been trying to reach a new two-year deal. They agreed on salaries, which would have held steady this year and would have given the refs an increase the second year, but the union balked at the league's attempt to change retirement benefits.
The first preseason game in on October 1, in Utah. The last time the NBA has used replacement refs was in the 1995-1196 season. Lets just hope the everything goes well. I can never go without a season with no NBA.

The rumor has it that LeBron James is not going anywhere when his contract is over.

While he was out signing doing his book signing in Cleveland,a fan screamed 'DON'T LEAVE US, MAN!' And LeBron said he ain't leaving. Just to keep it short and simple, I wont believe it until I here he signed an extension. Until then, Cleveland get the oxygen mask ready.

Delonte West

So it's been a good minute since I last posted a story and I will tell there has been a lot of interesting things that has happened in the past couple of days.

Delonte Delonte Delonte...Delonte West was arrested Thursday night for speeding on his motorcycle and carrying loaded guns. He was just carrying one gun, no he had three guns, and just hearing where he had them and what type of guns makes this story interesting. So here it is; Delonte had a Beretta 9mm in his waist band, a Ruger .357 strapped to his leg, and a Remington 870 shotgun in a guitar case slung to his back. Sounds like to me he was ready for war, don't it?

Delonte was in Maryland traveling north on the Beltway in a three-wheeled motorcycle called a Cam-Am Spyder when he cut off an officer near Route 214,The cops pulled over Delonte for making an unsafe lane change, and when the cops approached the motorcycle, Delonte told him that he had a handgun in on his waist. It made the cops take precaution and call for backup, after searching him they found the other guns.

The cops still do not know why or where Delonte was heading with all that guns or why he was even in that area. When speaking to Delonte's father, Demitri West, he said that Delonte was always protecting himself and always looking behind his back. He also said that Delonte was always looking out for specific people and because he was concerned of his well-being as a high-profile athlete.

All I have to say is, first and for most, Delonte West is not all that big. He is usually known as that ghetto white boy who plays with the Cleveland Cavaliers and likes KFC. I think maybe he heard his girl was creeping with another man and so he was going over there to maybe scare the crap out of her. Well whatever he was doing, it was a dumb a really dumb thing to do. But, with all jokes aside, Delonte has been facing some depression moods since childhood and has been taking medication and going to counseling for it. Maybe he stop taking them and due to that, it has made him very paranoid. In whatever case, I just hope that he is okay and he can work through things. I just hate seeing players or people who is getting to their highest moment of their life and ruin it with something stupid.

R.I.P William 'Skipper' Beck

September 11, 2009, for us we are remembering the ones that we lost in September 11, 2001. But for the Charlotte Bobcats and the Beck family, they are mourning the lost of their co-owner William 'Skipper' Beck. Beck died Friday in a plane crash around 7:15 AM at a local airport in South Carolina, just across the state line from Charlotte. The York County coroner and the Federal Aviation Administration say Beck was piloting the aircraft and wad the only person aboard the Cirrus SR22. He was 49.

Witnesses say the plane returned shortly after taking off but then crashed as it tried to land and caught on fire. An Internet flight tracking site says that the plane flew from New Jersey to Rock Hill on Wednesday.

On the day that one of his co-workers is getting inducted to the Hall of Fame, Beck passes away. They are still now answers into what happened that caused the plane to crash and catch fire.

Here is a statement from majority owner Robert L. Johnson:

"The entire Bobcats Sports & Entertainment family mourns the loss of our partner and friend Skipper Beck. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, colleagues and friends. Skipper loved basketball and was instrumental in bringing the Bobcats to Charlotte. As an owner he was without question the Bobcats greatest fan. We will miss him at courtside."

Rest in Peace Skipper, you will truly be missed.

NBA Hall of Fame

Last night the NBA Hall of Fame took place. the people who were inducted were of Michael Jordan, David Robinson, John Stockton, Jerry Sloan, and C. Vivian Stringer.

Here is a little history on each person if you don't know:
Michael Jordan, as what people would call him, the BEST PLAYER TO EVER PLAY THE GAME. He has 6 rings with the Chicago Bulls, but to me that's not what makes it so interesting. He won the first 3 in a row from 1991-1993. He than retired when his father passed away in 1994. After 18 months being retired, he came back to Chicago and won 3 more titles in a row from 1995-1998; all of those Finals, he was Finals MVP.. He then retired for a second time in 1999, and came back in 2003 as a Washington Wizards, and was still good. During his career, he has 32,292 points, 6,672 rebounds, and 5,633 assists. He was also NBA MVP for 5 years in 1988, 1991, 1992, 1996, and in 1998. He won the Slam Dunk Contest twice in 1987 and 1989. Need anymore cause I can go all day.
David Robinson, nicknamed 'The Admirable', was drafted to the San Antonio Spurs in 1989, helping them become one the greatest teams in the NBA. He had 20, 790 points, 10,497 rebounds, and 2,954 blocks. He helped the Spurs win two NBA Finals in 1999 and 2003 and was league MVP in 2005. He also has been in the All-Star Game 10 times in 1990-1996, 1998, and 2000-2001. Not only was he good in the NBA, but in college he won Naismith College Player of the Year and the John R. Wooden Award in 1987.
John Stockton holds the career for most assists at 15,806 also the most career steals at 3,265. He also has been a 10 time NBA All-Star from 1989-1997 and 2000. He has been in the NBA Finals with the Utah Jazz but came up too short to the Chicago Bulls. His best career highlights came during game 6 in the Western Conference Finals in 1997. Stockton scored the last 9 points for the Jazz, and the buzzer-beating 3 point over Charles Barkley to send the Jazz to the first of two consecutive NBA Finals appearances.
* Did I mention Jordan, Robinson, and Stockton were all part of the Dream Team in the US Olympics.
Jerry Sloan, not only did he coach, but he played in the NBA. While playing, he finished with 10,571 points, 5,615 rebounds, and 1,925 assists. As a coach, he has 1137-751 record (as of the end of the 2008-2009 NBA season), making him the fourth all-time most-winning NBA coach. From his 1137 win, he collected the 1,000Th win against the Dallas Mavericks on December 11, 2006, beating them to 101-79. He is the only coach in NBA history to record 1,000 wins with the same team. He first coached the Chicago Bulls from 1979-1982 and now the Utah Jazz from 1988- continuing.
C. Vivian Stringer is the first coach in NCAA history to lead three different women's programs to the NCAA Final Four; Cheyney University of Pennsylvania in 1982, University of Iowa in 1993, and Rutgers in 2000 and 2007. She is the third winning est coach in women's basketball history. She was honored as the Naismith College Coach of the Year for women's basketball in 1993 and is also part of the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame.
After thinking about everything and this year being such a great induction, I was wondering about the future Hall of Farmer's. Here is a list of all the players that should be inducted; Kobe Bryant, Jason Kidd, Alonzo Mourning, Karl Malone, Gary Payton, Shaquille O'Neal, Steve Nash. Also players that if continue to improve should also be in the Hall of Fame; LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Carmelo Anthony, Kevin Durant, Chris Paul, Deron Williams, Amar'e Stoudemire, Mario Chalmers, Derrick Rose, Michael Beasley, Joe Johnson, Allen Iverson, Dwight Howard, Rashard Lewis. Can't wait to see who will be inducted in the Hall of Fame next year. :)

College Football

This is the second week of College Football, and the rivalry games are just getting better and better. This week the USC Trojans will be playing against the OSU Buckeyes. Most people say that the Trojans will win and most say that the Buckeyes will win. I'm Hurricanes fan and the Buckeyes are one of our rivals, but I just love Terrelle Pryor a lot. Also the Trojans has a true freshmen as there starting QB, this is the first in a long time since this has happened, so it's kind of hard to say he can beat a good defense that the Buckeyes have.

Last week the Oklahoma Sooners lost there QB Sam Bradford to a third degree shoulder separation. It is said that he should be out for 2-4 weeks. Lets just hope that he is out until after the Miami Hurricanes play against them in week 4. (praying to GOD)

Back to this week's rival games; not only will USC and OSU head off, but Notre Dame and Michigan will also be playing tonight. Hate the guts out of Michigan so you know I am definitely be going for Notre Dame.

Since the beginning of college football, the AP rankings has changed drastically, here is the ranking as for today:

NFL News

Congratulations to Shawne Merriman, he will not be charged for battery and false imprisonment on former 'girlfriend' Tila Tequila. The DA dismissed the charges because there were insufficient evidence to the accusations. Tila will still be filing for a civil suit in this case. I just hope Shawne learned his lesson.

Kansas City Chiefs said it will be game time decision in which Matt Cassel will be playing or not for the opening game. Cassel has practiced all week but the decision is still 50-50. Cassel sprained his left knee during the third preseason game the Seattle Seahawks, he went back to practice the following Monday, but has been limited to drills. If Cassel doesn't play during the first game, head coach Todd Haley doesn't know who will be the starting QB; it will be between Brodie Croyle and Tyler Thigpen. Whoever starts, don't expect the Chiefs' game plan to change at all.

Congrats to the Cincinnati Bengals and the Arizona Cardinals for selling out there first opening season game. They announced on Friday that they should out in time to avoid the local blackout. Usually team only get 72 hours to sell out before the game, but since the Labor Day Weekend, they got an extension. The Bengals distributed more than 1,000 tickets to local charities and military members. The Riaders have been given a 24 hour extension by the NFL to sell out tickets or there will be a local blackout. Which shouldn't matter since there first game of the season is on ESPN. The last time a season opener was blacked out locally was in 2004, the New Orleans Saints were hosting the Seattle Seahawks.

The Oakland Raiders gave Richard Seymour a letter stating that if he was not in the Raiders office in 5 days, then he would suspended for the remainder of the season without pay. News came in that Seymour will be in Oakland sometime today and could possibly be playing in the season opener on Monday against the San Diego Chargers. When talking to Seymour, he said the trade 'blindsided' him. Seymour said he made no contract demands as condition of him joining the Raiders, but he needed the time to settle a couple of personal issues; he wanted to make sure he knew where his family would be living during the season. He also stated the he has been in contact with the Raiders owner Al Davis and coach Tom Cable after the trade.

"I didn't demand anything to go there, I'm happy to go there, and I told them that. But me and my family have never been separated. This was a difficult transition.First of all, I was blindsided by this whole event. When you get blindsided, you should take a moment to gather your thoughts. I have a lot of personal issues more pressing than football."

Those issues include arranging for his wife and four children to move to South Carolina while he plans to live alone in Oakland during the season. Seymour also is the legal guardian of his 15 year-old cousin who was starting high school in Massachusetts.

The court has ruled that the Minnesota Vikings Pat and Kevin Williams will be able to play the whole entire 2009-2010 season until further notice. The courts will not be able to rule upon the case that is at hand until the season is over.

The first game of the season has kicked off already on Thursday, September 10. The Tennessee Titans took on the Super Bowl Champion Pittsburgh Steelers. Opening up with a banger going into overtime, but before I talk about this season game, I gotta talk about last seasons. The Titans bounced on the Steelers beating them 31-14. After and during the game, some of the Titans players stated stomping on the Terrible Towel. Now this year playing in Pittsburgh, the Steelers took back there dignity and won 13-10 in overtime. Not only did they win, but they lost a valuable player on their defense, Troy Polamalu. During the second quarter, Polamalu sprained his MCL and could possibly be out for 3-6 weeks.

Now in the spirits of opening season, here is the schedule for the remainder of the week:

Miami Dolphins @ Atlanta Falcons

Kansas City Chiefs @Baltimore Ravens

Philadelphia Eagles @ Carolina Panthers

Denver Broncos @ Cincinnati Bengals

Minnesota Vikings @ Cleveland Browns

New York Jets @ Houston Texans

Jacksonville Jaguars @Indianapolis Colts

Detroit Lions @ New Orleans Saints

Dallas Cowboys @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers

San Francisco 49ers @ Arizona Cardinals

Washington Redskins @ New York Giants

St. Louis Rams @ Seattle Seahawks

Chicago Bears @ Green Bay Packers

Buffalo Bills @ New England Patriots

San Diego Chargers @ Oakland Raiders

NFL NEWS

Detroit Lions has announced that there starting quarterback will be rookie Matthew Stafford. I wonder how Daunte Culpepper feels about this. I think the only reason why he got the job is because of Daunte's foot injury and the other quarterback is injured also, so yea they had no choice.
Cleveland Browns head coach Eric Mangini said he is not going to reveal the starting quarterback until the season starts. The starting position is between Brady Quinn and Derek Anderson. Mangini said he doesn't want to reveal who it will be so it will make the other team's defensive coordinator won't have an advantage. He said it is tougher preparing for two players than preparing for one.
Tennessee Titans running back Lendale White said he is ready for the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday. He also said he can't until he runs all over them again. If you don't recall from last season, Lendale and several other Titans players, stomped on the Steelers' signature towel following a murking of 31-14. It would be sad if the Steelers lose the first game as defending Champs to the Titans 31-14 or something like that.
Brandon Marshall has been reinstated after being suspended for the two preseason games by the Denver Broncos. Let's just hope he has learned from his mistakes and just shut up and play. All this drama isn't going to leave a good taste in other teams mouth. It's too bad that the Jets won't be able to go and get him right now without getting in trouble. Hopefully everybody gets what they want after the season is over and it's not an ugly divorce.
The saddest thing that has ever happened has this weekend, the New England Patriots has traded Richard Seymour to the Oakland Raiders for a first-round pick in the 2011 draft. Seymour is one of the only, well was one of the only players that has been with the Patriots since their first Super Bowl. It's not a happy time in the Seymour camp, and if I was part of that camp, I would be too. Going from one of the best teams in the NFL to one of the worst teams in the NFL isn't really a good look. I would just retire if it was me.

The first game of the NFL season will begin in 3 days. The Super Bowl Champions Pittsburgh Steelers against the Tennessee Titans. Great game to start the NFL season. Can't wait and you know I will definitely be watching.

Shawne Merriman

It's sad to say that my lovable talented supposed to be his comeback season Shawne Merriman was arrested Sunday morning around 3:45 AM for supposedly choking and not letting his 'girlfriend' leave his San Diego home. The girl involved is (in the words of Gloria Velez), the "4'11" midget, Myspace hoe, no-talent bitch Tila Tequila (remember it all came from the mouth of Gloria Velez not me).

After the Chargers game, Tila, Shawne and other players of the Chargers went to the club and partied it up. Tila and Shawne went to Shawne's home in San Diego; something went wrong, cops were called and Shawne went to jail while Tila went to the hospital. Now they are two sides of every story and here they are:

Shawne claims that Tila was very intoxicated and he didn't want her to leave until she had a safe transportation back home. But Tila said that is all false cause she doesn't drink:

" I am allergic to alcohol. It has been publicly known for years. That is how I got the name Tila 'Tequila' cause the irony. I can't drink. I put all of my love and faith in God. I am only 93 pounds and 4'ft 11. The truth will set you free....GOD is with me."

It is kind of hard to believe that a 6'ft 4 265lb linebacker would choke a 4'ft 11 p3lb girl and her not still being in critical condition or something. Also the fact that she says she can't drink is bullshit; we all did see her show on MTV, and she was drinking. Also she has tweeted about herself getting drunk and shit like that. I think she is taking things way out of proportion and if this continues, it will fuck up Shawne's career for good. Hopefully Tila comes out and tells the truth about it all. I also just hope that Shawne learns from this and leaves her alone for good.

Here's a statement from Shawne:

"The San Diego Sheriffs Department responded to a citizen's complaint that was initiated by Tila Nguyen (aka Tila Tequila). I was taken into custody based upon that complaint. At the time, I was concerned about her welfare given the intoxicated state she appeared to be in and I encouraged her to stay until safe transportation could be provided. We would all do our best to help a friend if we considered their actions to be detrimental to their personal safety. I in no way caused any harm to Ms Nguyen, however paramedics were called and she was examined but no injuries were reported. She was released and has since returned to Los Angeles, California. There have been no charges filed against me. I want to thank the San Diego Sheriffs Department for their professionalism. I will continue to cooperate and fully with the Department and I look forward to clearing my name regarding these false allegations. I want to put this behind me so I can continue to focus on a successful season for the San Diego Chargers."

Can I just say this, I knew something like this would have happened since the first time they and that whole situation with Shawne's ex-girlfriend.I will keep you guys posted on this story of course...hopefully in the next couple of days the truth comes out or everybody mouth.

Here is some pictures of Tila and Shawne prior to the whole situation:

non girlfriends or chicks you're not fucking doesn't do all this with you in the club.
