NFL NEWS

Detroit Lions has announced that there starting quarterback will be rookie Matthew Stafford. I wonder how Daunte Culpepper feels about this. I think the only reason why he got the job is because of Daunte's foot injury and the other quarterback is injured also, so yea they had no choice.
Cleveland Browns head coach Eric Mangini said he is not going to reveal the starting quarterback until the season starts. The starting position is between Brady Quinn and Derek Anderson. Mangini said he doesn't want to reveal who it will be so it will make the other team's defensive coordinator won't have an advantage. He said it is tougher preparing for two players than preparing for one.
Tennessee Titans running back Lendale White said he is ready for the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday. He also said he can't until he runs all over them again. If you don't recall from last season, Lendale and several other Titans players, stomped on the Steelers' signature towel following a murking of 31-14. It would be sad if the Steelers lose the first game as defending Champs to the Titans 31-14 or something like that.
Brandon Marshall has been reinstated after being suspended for the two preseason games by the Denver Broncos. Let's just hope he has learned from his mistakes and just shut up and play. All this drama isn't going to leave a good taste in other teams mouth. It's too bad that the Jets won't be able to go and get him right now without getting in trouble. Hopefully everybody gets what they want after the season is over and it's not an ugly divorce.
The saddest thing that has ever happened has this weekend, the New England Patriots has traded Richard Seymour to the Oakland Raiders for a first-round pick in the 2011 draft. Seymour is one of the only, well was one of the only players that has been with the Patriots since their first Super Bowl. It's not a happy time in the Seymour camp, and if I was part of that camp, I would be too. Going from one of the best teams in the NFL to one of the worst teams in the NFL isn't really a good look. I would just retire if it was me.

The first game of the NFL season will begin in 3 days. The Super Bowl Champions Pittsburgh Steelers against the Tennessee Titans. Great game to start the NFL season. Can't wait and you know I will definitely be watching.
