NFL: PLAYOFFS

The NFL season is over, and the Playoffs have begun. The Wild Card is over and the Cowboys beat the Eagles 34-14, Jets beat the Bengals 24-14, Cardinals beat the Packers 51-45 OT, and Ravens beat the Patriots 33-14 to advance to the Divisional Finals. I twas crazy I think the number 14 as big in the Wild Card? lol... anyways, the best game of the Wild Card week would have to be of course to the Cardinals and the Packers; it started off a little whack I gotta say, but at the end of that game it became so interesting. It was a high scoring almost no defense game, the Cards really fought for that win I gotta say. The game that really got me mad was the Jests and Bengals game; the Bengals are way better than the Jets, but I guess the Jets defense really proved why they are the best defense in the league. And the Eagles, OMG! How do you lose against the Cowboys to weeks straight in a row, I was totally in shock. Not mad at all cause I knew that they wouldn't pass the Divisional Finals.

The Cardinals were the last to play in Wild Card and the first to play in the Divisional Finals, so we all really weren't shocked when they lost to the Saints 45-14. Two words I have to say REGGIE BUSH... Reggie KILLED IT during that game, I think that was the first time since his USC days that I could call him a running back. Kurt Warner did get hurt during the 2nd quarter but came back during the second half. Matt Leinart did get to play, and from what I saw Leinart do, I would have kept him in and kept Warner out. Sadly this may have been the last game that Warner will play. So if it is, Kurt you had a great career and even though you last your last game, you still left with a big bang. FUTURE HALL OF FAMER. P.S. please don't be like Brett Favre and say you're not coming back but then you do, that wouldn't be fair to Matt and you know that.

It seems like every home team that had a bye week won; Colts beat the Ravens 20-3, Vikings whooped the Cowboys 34-3, but only one team didn't win and I really wasn't surprised, Jets beat the Chargers 17-14. It was actually very shocking, not the Chargers lost, but that it was the most interesting game from them all. I'm still mad that the Jets are still here; don't get me wrong they are good, but they are not that good. They keep getting lucky and I just want them to lose already.

Now the Conference Championship is beginning and the NFC Finals is looking very interesting, the New Orleans Saints vs. the Minnesota Vikings. Both teams are the truth and this may be a very high scoring game; they both have great defense but their offense are a whole lot better. If the Vikings lose, this may be Brett Favre's last game. I would tell you guys who I want to win, but I can't cause I like both teams and I want both of them to make it to the Playoffs, I just wish that they were both in different Conferences. Thankfully the best game will be on Sunday at 6:20, so that means everybody will be at home and not at church (LOVE THE LORD)... The other game will be the Indianapolis Colts. vs. the New York Jets, which will also be on Sunday at 3:00. Of course we all know who will win this game... sorry New York but the Colts will win. Yes you guys beat them in the regular season, but lets not forget THEY SAT ALL THERE GOOD PLAYERS!!! Jets were losing during the whole game until the Colts decided to sit all there players down, and then you guys finally won. Which means with there starters in, JETS WILL LOSE!!

The games will be on CBS and FOX. I can't wait to see how these games are going to end. I just want to see who are going to the SUPER BOWL already. Which don't forget SUPER BOWL is in Miami on February 7 and the Pro Bowl will also be in Miami on January 31.

Haiti

So as we all know Haiti has gone through the worse earthquake ever and the death toll is estimated to be 50,000 + so far. There are more than 8 million people in Haiti right now that needs help. They are without food, water, a place to sleep, and medical attention. It hurts me to see this happening because not only adults are being killed and injured, but little kids and babies are being also. Being from a Haitian descent and having family still in Haiti just makes this whole situation even harder for me to hear and see.

Thankfully being from such a great country, U.S. has already responded to the disaster and are helping everybody in Haiti.I know a lot of you who read this may think that there is nothing that you can do, but there is always something you can do. The smallest things go a long way.

When going to the grocery store, you can always buy some extra water or non perishable foods. Also when going to the pharmacy, you can buy some first aid kits. When going through all those clothes that you don't wear or all the covers you never use, instead of keeping them there or throwing them away, just donate them. If you don't want to that, giving money will really help restore everything also. Here are some organizations you can donate some money to:

Tiger Woods

I just wanted to give people my opinion on all of these Tiger Woods rumors. I think they are ridiculous; I mean damn he's human and every human makes mistakes. Besides, he's rich and famous, groupies are everywhere, so we really shouldn't be surprised that he cheated. He is the best player in golf right now and one of the richest person out there. From what I've heard, he's a very humble guy and knows how to work out his mistakes. Besides this is the first time we've heard his name out their in a bad way.Instead of us trying to put out what we think about him and believing everything that other people say, why don't we just wait and see what happens and what he has to say about. W e should never prejudge until we know the full truth.

Tiger Woods is still the best and without him, golf is nothing. Their ratings will well is going down and the sponsorships that golf tournaments get, will be gone. I mean fuck the marriage at least we know he's still a good father to his kids. I mean yea a marriage is sacred and whatever but if it doesn't work it doesn't work. As long as he's their for his kids, we shouldn't be so hard on him.

Rest In Peace Jasper Howard

UCONN star conerback Jasper Howard was stabbed early Sunday morning and later passed away. Saturday, UCONN won against Louisville 38-25, where Jasper made 11 tackles, forced a fumble and recovered a fumble. Saturday night, Jasper and friends went to a school dance in which someone pulled the fire alarm. While people were outside, a fight broke out, Jasper and another classmate were stabbed.

"I know this, he loved UCONN; he loved his teammates; he loved everything about this." Head coach Randy Edsall stated with his eyes red and welling with tears. Coach Edsall drove to the hospital and had to identify Jasper's body.

"As Jazz looks down on us, I can promise him and his family, that son or daughter will have 105 uncles. And we will do what it takes to not get through this, but to grow from it." Punter and team captain Desi Cullen stated.

Jasper was the first person in his family to go to college and was working hard to get into the NFL. Born in Miami, he has talked about his hard living and how his mother had to work multiple jobs to take care of him and his siblings. The even sad part is that he was going to become a father in which he and the team were excited about.

Jasper made a big play Saturday for the win, he forced a fumble just when Louisville was about to score. After the game, Jasper who led the Big East in punt returns last season, spoke to the AP about the big play.

"I felt my hand go on the ball and I felt that I had a chance to get it out. I just stripped it out. It was a big play. We needed it."

The school has schedule for Jasper mother and two teen sisters to come to Connecticut. Jasper Howard was only 20 years-old. :(

Police still have no suspects and still have not identified the other victim in this case. If you have any information, please contact Connecticut Police at 860-486-4800.

Rest In Peace Jasper Howard, you will be always loved and missed.

Stafon Johnson

USC running back Stafon Johnson was finally released from the hospital. Before leaving the hospital Stafon's doctors, mother, and other family members, had a press conference. Without any hesitation, he gave the cameras a smile. Stafon's mother said that she is happy he is okay and that he is working hard to get back to being normal. She also started tearing up with Stafon when she was talking about the USC fans and organization:

"They sent everything you can possibly think to show Stafon the love, and that meant the world to get us to go along with that process."

Stafon's uncle, Kreg Anderson, read a letter written by Stafon:

"I am just filled with joy, as if I am graduating from one stage of life and on to the next obstacles. I greatly appreciate everything, and at this point, everything counts...This is not the end of anything. This is the beginning of things to come. I'll be back soon. We are fighting on."

Doctors do not know when he will be able to speak; his right vocal cord was torn away from its mooring, and his larynx was separated. When asking the doctors when Stafon will be able to play again, the doctor said that it really depends on Stafon.

"I don't think any physician can tell a player of they're going to play again."

When the doctor was talking, Stafon wrote another message that his mother later read. It had his twitter account and it had a message to his teammate for the game at Notre Dame:

"FIGHT ON. BEAT THE IRISH!"

If you want to follow Stafon Johnson on twitter and show some love, follow him at http://twitter.com/stafon13 ... and for all the facebook people out there be his friend at http://www.facebook.com/people/Stafon-Johnson/3432906 :)
P.S. Stafon if you ever read this..good luck and hope to see you soon on the football field :) Love ya and get well soon.
