Micahel Beasley Check Into Rehab

Two sources has confirmed Monday that Michael Beasley has checked into a rehab in Houston to address concerns over emotional distress and drug problems. This all started on Saturday when Michael posted this image in which in the background shows two baggies in which it looks like weed in the bags. After posting it, he then posted some tweets stating why are people hating on me and that life was not worth living.

While in rehab he will be guided be John Lucas, a former NBA coach, who runs a center for professional athletes with substance abuse problems. Lucas also battled substance abuse while in the NBA as a player and as a coach.

Bruce Shingler, a longtime friend and live-in personal assistant said, "All I can tell you is that it's true Mike is in Houston. Mike has had some issues. But as far as all the rumors and stuff out there, I can't tell you anything about that. This whole situation was supposed to be super G-14 classified, I think. He knows he got work to do. He's a 20 year-old guy growing up in the NBA, with money and fame. It's not easy. But all of this stuff that you here isn't what it seems like. that's all I can tell you."

His mother was unable to comment at the moment. Also the Heat's spokesman Tim Donovan declined comments earlier this afternoon. It is uncertain how long Mike will be in rehab.

I just hope that Mike is okay once he comes out; set aside from the season coming up, I just want him to be mentally okay for his family. He has been through a lot this past season alone and it can be a lot on a young man who hasn't had a lot depending on them. Mike if you read this, I'm praying for you adn I really want you to come back. And all the Mike haters, stop hating!!!
