Here's an interview of my girl Khaliah Clark that was posted by Darian Murray:

Hailing from West New York, NJ, Khaliah Clark has encountered many obstacles that would have forced many of her peers her age to simply give up. However, Khaliah Clark has a silent strength that has enabled her to go where many have only dared to dream.
Khaliah has embraced who she is and is well on her way to becoming a Household name. Khaliah has been working magic in the fashion industry since 1999. Starting as a sales rep for Full Force Sales with Ozzie Stewart, she went on to work for clothing lines such as Bust Rhymes' Bushy, Karl Kani, and the Ruff Riders’ Dirty Denim Collection. She exclaims, “Fashion is a part of who I am. It’s like a second skin.”
In 2001, Khaliah moved on to work with Balla apparel, one of the leading lines in urban wear. At Balla, she took on a variety of responsibilities, from being show room manager, to assisting the VP of Marketing in all product placements, to contributing to matters of public relations. As a validation of her hard work, Khaliah was invited to host that year’s first ever Urban Fashion Week in Miami. She was more than up for the challenge, “I loved that experience and I knew at the moment that there was nothing I could not do.”, Khaliah states.
Ready for a change, Khaliah moved on to Baby Phat in 2003. Interning first for the VP of Public Relations, she was involved in all facets of the fashion business, including product placement, visual merchandising, production, and styling. She was involved in both the spring and fall season lines, and having once again impressed her colleagues, in 2004 she was named venue manager for the Kimora Lee Simmons Fashion Show at Radio City Music Hall.
Wishing to expand the reach of her work, Khaliah jumped at the opportunity to work for the critically acclaimed independent film, My Brother. Starring Grammy Winning Singer/Actress Vanessa Williams and Academy Award winner Tatum O’Neal, Khaliah’s work as Wardrobe Supervisor provided her with valuable experience in the field of fashion in film.
In May 2005, Khaliah once was again honored with the pleasure of working with Urban Fashion Week, this time as Event Coordinator for the two-day Urban Fashion Main Event in New York. Held in a Westside loft in Manhattan, the event showcased some of the hottest brands in fashion, such as Baby Phat, Akademiks, Def Jam University, Azzure, Ecko Red, and Phat Farm.Currently, Khaliah does freelance work, as a Fashion Stylist, Event Coordinator, and Production Consultant, as well as projects with fashion extraordinaire Roger McKenzie and his agency Brat Pack, Inc.As the First Lady of Brat Pack, Khaliah has worked with an amazing list of celebrities, stylists and TV shows. She was worked with outstanding stylists such as Iconic stylist June Ambrose in which she assisted on the Rocawear campaign, Ne Yo's "Go on Girl Video. And the list of her achievements goes on and on.
She has worked with celebrities such as Mya, R. Kelly, Method Man, Carmen Electra, American Idol’s Paris Bennett, gospel Sensation Nyoki, Rock Icon Joan Jett, and reggae pioneer Burning Spear.
As for TV, Khaliah has done work with MTV’s TRL, BET’s 106 and Park, Jimmy Kimmel Live, VH1’s The White Rapper Show, and most recently she has styled one of the stars of HBO’s The Wire, J.D. Williams while continuing to gather clients and garner a reputation as one of today’s top stylist.
Recently, Khaliah and I conversated about her life and how she has evolved as a black woman and as a Single Mother and what she believes to be her motivation.

Hello, Khaliah, how are you?

Hi, Darian, I am well thank you for asking!

Well, I must ask you, how did you become a stylist?
Well, I became a fashion stylist by interning for Roger Mckenzie of Brat Pack Inc. He introduced me to world of styling. He showed me everything to become successful. It was a life changing experience.

What inspired you to get into the stylist game/Industry?

My love for fashion and my aunt Avis, she always talked to me about fashion and what a lady should and should not wear. I have always enjoyed dressing people up. Whenever my friends would come to my house and I would change their outfit or add to the outfit, they often left feeling and looking amazing. I always would watch red carpet events, movies and videos. I would say, “I would have loved to dress her or him.”

So I hustled my way into the business. I had a passion for it all. I got in the fashion game by making dresses and sexy tops out of promo tees.

Who are some of your favorite designers and why?

Well, hands down it has to be Dolce & Gabanna. Their pieces are just classics. Also, Gucci, Chanel and up and coming designers. I love labels, because their pieces never go out of style. There are moments and then years later Vintage pieces.

I love up and coming designers, because most of the time their pieces are one of kind pieces. Simply because they are designed by the designer. They put they heart and soul into their pieces. That’s what makes a designer a designer.

How have you dealt with the highs and lows of your career?

The Highs are always good, simply because, you really see how far you have grown and what you have accomplished. Personally, I deal with the lows with a lot of prayer and meditation.I always call up my stylist friends; speak to my mom, aunt, or my brother. I complain how bad and grimy the industry can be and then I'm back at it again the next day. In this business, one has to have a thick skin.

What are you doing to give back to the community?

I am mentoring young girls from my church. I am a Youth Advisor, so it’s sort of my calling in a way. To show them that you don’t have to settle in life. I constantly try to empower the leaders of tomorrow.

Being a teenage mother, I know the struggles of being a parent and single parent at that. I try to teach girls that no matter what obstacles or challenges u may go thru in life, you can make it.

Where do you see yourself in the next 5 Years?

Honestly, I see myself working on various projects. Also, I will be working on my daughter Moet's clothing line and a positive reality show surrounding the clothing line. I am so proud of her and she already has a feel for fashion that is unmatched. In a way, she has become something of a style Connoisseur herself. She loves the fashion and the styling in ways that often surprise me.

I am also super excited about Clark Boyz. It’s a clothing line created by my nephews. They are all dancers and athletes who have also embraced fashion. The Goal for Clark Boyz isn’t just for someone with the last name but it’s clearly for the young urban gentleman who knows that when he stops, the world stops as well. Each Clark Boy has his own style and swagger and we want the world to know it’s a unique and trusted brand.

The long term goal is to have everyone wearing the brand. I am excited because eventually Clark Boyz will carry everything from backpacks, sneakers and ultimately jewelry. It’s truly about the branding and influence in the market that sets them apart from everyone else.

As for production, I am partnering with KC Rose who founded KC Productions. We also worked together on a ground breaking Fashion Show Entitled “The Fashion Main Event”. It was a smash and we have much more to bring to the realm of production. I head the East Coast division and Stylist Keyonna Cox heads the West Coast Division. The goal for KC Productions is to be the forerunner in the Television and Film Industry.

What would you say to an up and coming stylist fresh out of school?

First off, get a Good Internship, stay volunteering and assisting other stylists. Get all the experience you can. You can work tons of free projects just to build up your name and styling resume. Networking and researching are key factors as well. You must know this business in and out and you have to be a multi tasker and work well under pressure.

What are 5 key things a woman and man should always have in the area of style?

Always smelling like roses- A good scent is Key for a woman.

LeBron James Unlikely to Sign Extension with Cleveland before 2009-2010 Season

Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James stated that he will not sign an extension with the Cavaliers until 2009-2010 season is over and he knows that they are going to win.LeBron's contract ends after the 2009-2010 season and he will become a free agent searching for a new team. LeBron said he will wait til the season is over and then decide whether to stay or leave.

After coming short in making it to the NBA Finals last season losing to the Orlando Magics, the Cavaliers went out and searched for better players to help them get to the Finals this season and keeping LeBron in the long run. They went out to get center Shaquille O'Neal, foward Jamario Moon, gaurd Anthony Parker (who is also Candice Parker's big brother), and working on signing foward Leon Powe.

Hoping this will help the Cavs win a title and keeping the star forward happy, the Cavs front office are pulling everything out of their hats to make LeBron happy. Ireally don't know if this will help LeBron stay. I think it will be very shocking if goes to me personally; Cleveland is his home, all of his family and hometown friends live in Ohio. All of his childhood and career started in Ohio, and not to mention his charity and organization is in Ohio. Why leave? I think he will be the highest paid athlete of all time when he becomes a free agent, it only depends on which team will be paying him. Cleveland Cavaliers or some other team. I don't know I honestly can't see him play for any other team, It's like Kobe leaving the Lakers or Jordan leaving the Bulls. Guess we will all find out next year. CAN'T WAIT!!!!! :)

Titans to Honor Steve McNair This Season

The Tennessee Titans will honor Steve McNair with an No. 9 decal on their helmets for the upcoming season starting with the Hall of Fame game this weekend. Steve McNair a former Titans player who played 11 seasons and helped them get to the Super Bowl, was found shot to death by his girlfriend Sahel Kazemi, who then killed herself,on the July 4, 2009. The coaches and sideline personels will also have the option of wearing a No. 9 lapel pin.

"We felt this was an appropriate way to honor Steve McNair and the contributions he made to our franchise," Titans owner Bud Adams said in a statement. "We have other things planned for our fans to honor him and the McNair family."

McNair retired in April of 2008 after 13 seasons in the NFL, the last two seasons with the Baltimore Ravens. He was also inducted in the Titans' Ring of Honor in October of 2008, and the Titans fan has been petitioning online for the them to retire his number 9.

It is a little bit hard for me to write this blog because I do miss him a lot and maybe if he didn't have a crazy chick for a girlfriend he would still be here. I can't even imagine all the pain that his family is going thorugh. I mean seeing how Vince Young took it, just imagine how his sons are taking it. What mother would want to see her own child die before her. But, some of the pain of his passing goes away knowing that they will honor him and make sure no one forgets his name. And no motter what people say about him right now after all this and the side chick and whatever, Steve McNair was a true kind hearted man that put his love for people before himself. I guess God needed him more than we did right now. I hope not only does the Titans honor him, but the whole league honor him this season. So, No. 9 or SM better be on every single helmet this season or I will go off. R.I.P. STEVE MCNAIR

Michael Crabtree Ready to Sit Out This Season

Rookie wide receiver for the San Fransisco 49ers Michael Crabtree, is prepared to sit out for the whole season and re-enter the 2010 NFL Draft (I didn't know that was possible), stated by David Wells on Thursday. David Wells is Michael's cousin and advisor.

"We are prepared to do it," Wells said. "Michael just wants fair market value. They took him with the 10th pick and you have Darrius Heyward-Bey

[the seventh overall pick by the Oakland Raiders] getting $38 million? This week is crucial. Michael was one of the best players in the draft and he just wants to be paid like one of the best players. This week is very crucial."

But Michael's agent, Eugene Parker, told ESPN that this is not true (who do you think is ling?)."You've known me a long time and I'm not a guy who makes threats. Nor am I a guy who negotiates in the public. I don't know where this came from but no such threat has been made."

David Wells stated that the Niners has made an offer but it is not acceptable and that Michael is ready to start practicing and was held out of organized team activities this spring by coaches only for precautionary reasons (this sounds like crap to me).Michael has also missed the Niners' off season mini camps but was regularly present at team headquarters for rehabilitation and strengthening workouts. Let's not forget that Michael Crabtree is recovering from a foot injury.

Ohhh and for people who doesn't know who Michael Crabtree is well he was drafted to the 49ers in the NFL Draft in April. He was a former receiver for Texas Tech and caught 97 passes for 1,165 yards and 19 touchdowns last year during his sophomore season. He finished his college career with 231 receptions, 3,127 yards and 41 TDs (I do my research and I know what I'm talking bout don't get it twisted lol.). And yea he was good in college, but that doesn't mean you will do the same in the NFL; just ask Reggie Bush and Matt Leinart, and all the quarterbacks that came from UM. If this is true then Michael you are being dumber than Jamarcus Russel right now. Just shut up and play and prove to the team that you are worth more than whatever they are offering you and Darrius Heyward-Bey, which I don't know why you gotta put him in your mess. But, if it is not true then Michael I know David Wells is your cousin and that's family and whatever, but he gotta go before he does something that you will regret for the rest of your life. And what's up with all this we David Wells keeps saying, you're not the one in the NFL, Michael is so shut up with all that, messing up baby boy's career for no reason. All I can say is get better and play like you did in college, maybe better and wait til you're like a veteran. Hell right now you sound like one maybe worse in my mind. 49ers, don't give in like the Raiders did last season, he hasn't even played a game to show he's good, don't pay him and he sucks like Reggie Bush or a bust like Jamarcus Russel is right now. Keep Your Pimp Hand Strong Niners!!!!!

Rashard Lewis Suspended For 10 Games

Orlando Magic's forward Rashard Lewis has been suspended for 10 games. The Orlando Sentinel first reported the positive test early this morning, stating unidentified league sources, the newspaper reported the supplement taken contained DHEA, which is a steroids precursor. In Simpler terms Rashard took something that elevated his testosterone.

In a statement that Rashard released he stated that he took an over-the-counter supplement late last season that had a substance he did not realize was banned by the NBA.

"First and foremost I take full responsibility for the situation and accept the corresponding penalty," Lewis said. "I apologize to Magic fans, my teammates and this organization for not doing the research that should come with good judgment.I hope every athlete can learn from my mistake that supplements, no matter how innocent they seem, should only be taken after consulting an expert in the field," Lewis said in his statement."

Rashard will be suspened without pay for the first 10 games of the seaon (which is nothing in the NBA seriously). Last seaon he averaged 19 points in the Playoffs which helped the Magics make it to the NBA Finals (maybe the drugs died out on him in the Finals).

I really do think Rashard didn't mean to take the DHEA, I mean he is good without. I f you don't believe check his stats before you judge. Thank You!!! :) The 10 games he will be suspended for won't even effect him or the team. He will come and play like that great forward he is. I am confident that Rashard and the Magics will kill this season, well they better since they are my team to win the Finals this season (well I hope they win this seaon). Rashard is a great man on and off the court and I mean at least he get caught sticking a needle up his a$$.

Donte Stallworth Deeply Sorry

Donte Stallworth said he has done an "irreparable harm" to the NFL and to the family of the man he struck and killed.

For people that are unfamiliar with who Donte Stallworth is and what he has done well let me fill you in. Donte is a wide receiver for the Cleveland Browns and was arrested and plead guilty for DUI manslaughter in June for murder. On March 14 (a day before my birthday thanks Donte) Donte was driving drunk and high in Miami beach when he struck and killed 59 year-old Mario Reyes, a construction cane operator. When cops checked Donte's alcohol level, it was over the level in Miami which is 0.08 and his was 0.126, they also found marijuana in his system. He plead guilty for DUI manslaughter and was to serve 30 days in jail which he served 24 days; also his driver liscense is suspended for life.

Donte, who is under indefinite suspension, went to speak with commissione Roger Goodell in New York on Wednesday to discuss him coming back to the league. It is uncertain in when we will get a response from Goodell.

In a letter, Donte said he was grateful that Goodell met with him. Here is his letter that he released earlier today:

"I wanted to meet with Commissioner Goodell before making any public comment about the impact of my actions on the National Football League. I want to thank the Commissioner for giving me the opportunity to be heard yesterday," the letter read.
"I recognize that there is a difference between the legal standard in my criminal case and the standard to which NFL players are held. It is clear that I exercised poor judgment and caused irreparable harm to Mario Reyes, his family, the NFL, its owners, coaches, employees and to my fellow players. Going forward, I am committed to conducting myself in a manner that more accurately reflects who I am and meets the high standard expected of all NFL players. I tried to convey this commitment to Commissioner Goodell yesterday. I respect the Commissioner's authority and I trust his judgment. Whatever he ultimately decides is the appropriate discipline, I will accept knowing that I have profoundly affected the NFL and its relationship with the fans of our game.
"I apologize for my poor judgment. I jeopardized the honor and privilege that I have been given to be an NFL player and to play for our fans. I am truly sorry."

On Wednesday head coach of the Cleveland Browns Eric Mangini spoke to the media calling the Stallworth-Goodell meeting "a league matter, so I can't elaborate anymore."

"Once the league makes the decision they're going to make, then we'll address it then."

I truly hope that Donte and comminssioner Goodell comes with a reasonable punishment. I just hope he doesn't start playing before Michael Vick. So, after week 6 then yeah Donte can come back. I do believe he is really sorry for his action, I mean he killed a man and he will have to live with that for the rest of his life. I really do like the Cleveland Browns for sticking in their and standing behind him through everything and not releasing him as soon as he got in trouble, but that might change soon, you never know. Think about it, what if Goodell suspend for the whole season, the Browns would have no choice but to release and get someone else. I'm just saying if he has to go I'm going for Marvin Harris. But we're going to think positive in this whole thing and hope that Goodell gives him a second chance and he gets to come back. GOOD LUCK DONTE!!!! :)

AFL Is Finally Over and Broke

A league source told ESPN that the AFL is "suspending operations indefinitely," and an official announcement was forthcoming. Also the league will be filing for bankruptcy.

"It's just unfortunate we're in this situation," Bouchy said, according to the newspaper. "Everyone knows myself and Arizona fought hard to avoid this day. The league was divided into two groups and factions. You had one group of committed owners who contributed capital and willing to do whatever it took to bring the league back in 2010. I have been in that group the entire time. Then there was another group that just wasn't willing to make the investment. We could never get a consensus."

Tampa Bay Storm owner Jim Borghesi posted a message on his Facebook page, saying: "The AFL will be having a press conference to announce that the league will not be returning," according to the Albany Times-Union.

In December of 2008 the league announced their suspension of the 2009 season. In March the players and management agreed to a new collective bargaining agreement, and in April a business paln was put together for the owners to review.

But Columbus Destroyers managing partner Jim Renacci, who was in charge of coming up with the adjusted financial plan, told the Columbus Dispatch that despite efforts in the past six to nine months, and with the economy still in a recession, the requisite 75 percent of owners could not agree on the plan.

"When you have 22 different owners in 17 ownership groups, it's very difficult to get a supermajority on most any plan," Renacci said, according to the Dispatch.

This is really sad to hear because I really did like the AFL and it was my second NFL until the NFL season started. I hope the UFL can take the place for that void, even maybe the AFL can work everything out and probably by 2012 they will be back and business. I only wish for the best in that whole craziness.

Roger Mayweather Faces Charges

Roger Mayweather, the uncle adn head trainer for Floyd Mayweather Jr., was arrested and charged with coercion with force and battery strangulation over the weekend in Las Vegas, on Monday.According to the police report, officers answered a call at a private residence on Sunday morning and found Mayweather with his arms around Melissa St. Vil. He released her, and she begain coughing and splitting blood. The report says that paramedics described redness on St. Vil's throat and defensive wounds on Mayweather's face and head. St. Vil stated that she hit Mayweather in the head with a small lamp as he attempted to strangle her, and the lamp did have blood on it. She also stated that she was hit in the ribs a couple of times.Mayweather was taken into custody and transported to Clark County Detention Center.

I don't know what they were fighting for and I really want to know becasue for a 48 year-old man to do all that to a woman, then she must have done something really bad to him. Probably she owned him money and she ain't want to give it, so he beat her up. Even maybe they were dating but didn't work out. I really want to know what happened and you know I will be keeping you updated on this story.

Marshawn Lynch Still Sunspended

The NFL has denied Marshawn Lynch's appeal of his three-game suspension. For people that don't know Marshawn Lynch, running back for the Buffalo Bills was suspended by Commissioner Roger Goodell for violating the personal conduct policy. The supsension was a result for Lynch's arrest on February 11, when the police searched a parked car Lynch was in and found a 9mm semiautomatic handgun in a backpack in the trunk. Police also found four marijuana cigarettes in the car, but no drug charges were filed. That was the second incident with the law following a hit-and-run accident in Buffalo in May of 2008. He pleaded guilty for traffic violation and admitted to driving off after striking a female pedestrian with his car near Buffalo's downtown bar district.

"We are disappointed, obviously," Bills head coach Dick Jauron said after the team's afternoon practice at St. John Fisher College in Pittsford, N.Y. "We'll lose a real good football player for three games. But, hopefully, Marshawn has learned a good deal from it."

Now Marshawn you know you were wrong for everything you have done, so why are you trying to appeal the suspension? You should be happy that Goddell didn't suspend you for half of the seaon or the whole seaon. Just take your punishment and SHUT UP!!!! Hell you should be happy that the Buffalo Bills aren't releasing you, they got Dominic Rhodes and Fred Jackson, they could just drop you and move on without even looking back. So take your suspension and come back hard on September 23.

Plaxico Burress

With this story about Plaxico Burress I have been trying to bite my tongue with it because I truly love Plaxico and I really do feel sorry for him. I don't I do feel like he is sorry for what has happen and he is ready to pay for his consequences, but I think three and half years is way too much for him to be serving.

If you're familiar with the Plaxico Burress situation well here's a brief description about the case;

On November 28, 2008, Plaxico shot himself in the thighs at the New York nightclub LQ. When Glock pistol, tucked in his waistband of his sweatpants, began sliding down his legs, he began reaching for his gun and accidentally shot himself. He then went to the Hospital to get help, while his friend and former teammate Antonio Pierce took the gun and threw it away. The next day Plaxico turned himslef in to the police. Mayor of New York Michael Bloomberg called the hospital actions an "outrage" and stated that they are a "chargeable offense". He also said that he wants Plaxico to face up to three and half years. Just recently on August 3, 2009, Plaxico was indicted on two counts of criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree, and a single count of reckless endangerment in the second degree. If found guilly he could face three and half to fifteen years in prison.

So that I got you familiarrized with the whole situation, I personally think it is unfair that he has to serve so much time. I mean I know he had an unregistered gun on him and he had the safe lock off, but I mean he didn't kill anybody and if he did it would have himself.

I think if he has to serve a lot time then Donte Stallworth should serve time.On March 14, 2009, Donte hit and killed a man with his car in South Beach. You know what he got, 30 days in jail, 2 years house arrest, 1,000 hours of community service hours, 8 years of probation, and a life time suspended liscence. Did I mention Donte killed somebody, when Plaxico didn't.

Plaxico is 31 turning 32 with a family son Elijah and a wife Tiffany. Not to mention his son was just born like probably 2 years ago and needs his father to be with him. Also he has maybe a good 4-5 more seasons in him. So the best thing I think he should do is make the preccess go a little bit faster so he can serve his time and come back to the league.

I think the Dumbest thing Plaxico has done so far was not taking the ple deal they had for him. He could have served 2 years and maybe get out eraly for good behavior or like most people over booked prisons.

I just hope this ends good for Plaxico I'm gonna really miss him if it doesn't. So Plax if you ever read this I'm praying for you. I think if he is really remorseful for what he has done, then God will find the best thing for him in this situation. OH and Antonio Pierce was not indicted in this whole situation and said he will testify again if has to. He want's to do what is right. If that means throwing your friend under the bus then whatever.

Break Up

So we all know that Tony Romo and Jessica Simpson are over, but for people that have been living under a rock, Tony Romo ended it with Jessica Simpson the day before her 29Th birthday. Such a guy to break up with your girl before her birthday. Now this is the major thing that was really messed up to me, for Tony's 29Th birthday, Jessica bought him a yacht and for Jessica's 29Th birthday Tony bought Jessica a heart break.

But now I'm not going to blame everything on Tony, Jessica was expecting Tony to give her and engagement ring which I don't think Tony was ready for. But stories say that he was ready but Jessica was too jealous and knowing Tony I don' think he was ready for all that. I mean we all saw Jessica's show with ex-husband Nick Lachey "Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica."


And now Tony is creeping around with a chick that looks just like Jessica to me. I guess he likes blonde chicks that look alike. I mean his first girlfriend that we knew about was Carrie Underwood, American Idol winner. And his new girl he is seen going around with looks kind of just like both of them just not rich and famous.

But me being such a big sports fan, I am happy that Tony and Jessicaare over. maybe he can finally do good this season instead of worrying about traveling with Jessica and being all cuddley. Yes I am one of those fan that truely believed Jessica Simpson was Tony Romo's curse. Now that he's single....well not dating Jessica, the Dallas Cowboys can finally win a Playoffs game. GO COWBOYS!!!!

In a familiar situation, the couple that I wish would have worked out and I believe others did too, Reggie Bush and Kim Kardashian have also called it a quits after almost 3 years togather. Now this break up was a shock to all of us even to the couples.

There has been many rumors of the reason fo their break up. One that I believe is so false is that Kim was creeping around with Knaye West. I mean Kanye doesn't even look like Kim's type to me and that would be a definite downgrade for Kim. Now I think the main reason that Reggie Bush and Kim Kardashian broke up was because they weren't ready for marriage, well Reggie wasn't ready for marriage and living the life that Kim was living. Reggie is only 24 years-old just starting on his football career and has a lot of things he want to do. While Kim is turning 28 years-old turning 29 in October ready for marriage and babies.You know Kim wants to be married before living with her man and I don't think Reggie wants to do all that just yet.

Also I don't think Kim is really over her ex-boyfriend Ray-J and the whole sex tape. So I think the only way she can move on in arelationship successfully is if she gets over the past and moves on in her future. I hope they can work it out and in the future they can get back together. I think if God wants them together, then they will be together.

I wonder with this break up will Reggie actually do good this season, and actually play good enough so the Saints fans won't regret drafting him. Don't Reggie Bush and Tony Romo's situation sound the same to you?

I was watching BET Rising Icon and I fell upon an artist that goes by the name Hal Linton. Hal is a 24-year old R&B/ soul singer-producer-songwriter from Barbados. He was discovered by Evan Rogers and Carl Sturken of SRP; they are the people who helped bring Rihanna and Shontell up the charts.

Getting his inspiration from Prince, Marvin Gaye, Al Green, Bob Marley and James Brown, Hal Linton has created an unique blend of classic soul and modern R&B that puts him alongside Maxwell, John Legend, Robin Thicke, Musiq Soulchild, and Anthony Hamilton.

Now that he is living in New York, Hal's debut album, "Return From the Future," is to be released in 2009, and will have his electrifying single, "She's Dangerous" and my favorite song "Lock My Heart Down."

I can tell you he is a little cutie and his voice is I will say beautiful. To me he reminds me of Chrisette Michele but of course a male version. I will tell you that he is someone to check out. I mean if BET will waste a 30 minute show on him then he is worth to go out and do some research on.

No Twittering During the NFL

All the things in the NFL world that scares coaches from injuries and indescrestions, and a Tom Brady going all over your defense - the NFL has added a new threat: TWITTER

When training camp started last week, players were told: "Paranoia that applies to the flow of information to reporters also applies to Twitter."

In Green Bay players were warned that if the tweeted during team meetings or coaching sessions they would be fined.

When the Miami Dolphins head coach Tony Sparano met with his team before Sunday's practice, he automatically banned twitter.
“I don’t have an account,” Ferguson said. “I was thinking about getting one until I got the information. O.K., won’t get it now. Can’t do it. I don’t want to get fined, not yet.”

Football coaches worry that Twitter could inspire budding heads in locker rooms (which most locker rooms are already seperated), also that locker room bloggers will disclose more than they should about injuries, game plans, and what is said behind closed doors.

NFL does not have a policy about social media, but cellphones, computers, P.D.A.'s cannot be used by players, coaches, or other club personnel on the sideline, in coaches' booths or locker rooms from pre-game warm-ups through the end of the game. But NFL officials are working on a policy that will not allow players or coaches to se social media sites on the day of games.

Coaches did not have to look far for a reason why they don't like Twitter;after Minnesota quarterback Tarvaris Jackson sprained a knee ligament in practice Saturday, his teammate Bernard Berrian tweeted that he was out for the season. Berrian later said that he was joking, and Jackson is expected to miss only a few practices. A greater fear for coaches is that a player will mention that he turned his ankle in practice — or worse, that somebody else did — and that the news media and opponents will quickly read it.

Football coaches rather prefer that their players pick up their playbooks instead of their BlackBerrys.

“I’m naïve to the whole thing, I don’t really know what this is,” Sparano said, after warning his players about Twitter. “I just learned how to text a couple months ago.”

I guess we're just gonna have to wait til season starts to see what really happens..I can see Chad Ocho Cinco and T.O. maybe breaking th rules sneaking in their BlackBerrys on the sidelnes and twitting what they feel and think about everything.

Jay-Z Reveals His New Album Cover

Ever since Jay-Z claimed to be retired, he has been teasing us with a great idea of making a threequal of The Blueprint. He also even told us that he was working on tracks with Kanye West but we couldn't believe something that great. BUT NOW the album is ready and dropping in September and it's getting more real.

On Hova's website, he posted the album cover and here it is:

I actually think it's really cool and I'm excited for the album to come out...Let's not forget the two hot tracks that he dropped: DOA (Death of Autotuned) and We Run This featuring Kanye West and Rihanna.

The Blueprint 3 is set to release on September 11, eight years to the day after he dropped the original Blueprint. The album will be well is primarily produced by Kanye West. Also there is productions by No I.D., Mr. Hudson, and MGMT.

So mark your calenders and get ready for September 11..Oh and must I remind you that 50cent is also dropping his album on the same date, which is dumb cause we all know that Hova will dominate the sales that day...Well will have to wait and see what happens :)
