Brandon Marshall Found Not Guilty

Denver Broncos receiver Brandon Marshall was found not guilty Friday by an Atlanta jury on misdemeanor battery against his former girlfriend. Brandon had faced two counts of simple batter before on his ex-girlfriend Rasheedah Watley in his Atlanta condominium that they shared together.

"I'm just happy now that legally and emothionally we can move past this."

Brandon Marshall also said he plans on celebrating Frida night by watching his teammates in an preseason game against the San Francisco 49ers.

Brandon's lawyer, Harvey Steinberg, expressed that he was happy that Roger Goodell waited until the verdict of the case came out before he decied on Brandon's punishment. Brandon was suspended last season's opener after a series of domestic disputes, and Goodell stated that a conviction of in the Atlanta courts would lead to a second suspension.

I guess since Brandon wasn't found guilty then maybe he won't get suspended, and if he does maybe it might be like 3 games or less. I guess we just have see and wait. But, believe that I will keep you guys posted on the case. Hopefully he finally learned his lesson and he will stop fighting with his girlfriends, well now his fiance.

Highest Paid Athletes in the NFL

So yesterday New York Giants quarterback, Eli Manning, signed an extension with the Giants with a 6 year $15.3 million starting next season. So when I heard this I was thinking damn he must be the highest paid NFL player. I had to investigate this and I found out he's not, but he does get paid more than his big brother Peyton Manning, quarterback of the Indianapolis Colts.

Before Eli signed his uber big contract, Nnamdi Asomugha was the highest paid athlete on average. He agreed to a 3 year, $45.3 million, earlier this year. For people that doesn't know who Nnamdi is, he is an All-Pro conerback of the Oakland Raiders, who has 257 total tackles, 16 sacks, and 10 interceptions for 69 yards. I also thought I should bring up that Nnamdi is partially color blind. " It was determined when I was about 7 years old. It's never really affected my play on the field- I can easily distinguish between light and dark colors. I only have trouble between similar colors- the light ones. They look the same to me. No problems on the field."

Julius Pepper will be the league's highest paid player this season with 1 year $16.7 million contract. If you don't know who Julius Pepper is a defensive end of the Carolina Panthers. He has 344 total tackles, 70.5 total sacks, 4 interceptions for 164 yards, and 1 interception touchdown. Who I must say donated $100,000 to a scholarship program that supports African-American students at his Alma matter North Carolina in February (just had to add that).

And now Eli Manning is among the highest paid players in the league today. I guess big brother needs to step his contract up to beat little brother. I just wish that I was part of the Manning family. Every single one of them are rich. Daddy played in the NFL, Peyton and Eli getting paid top money, and the oldest brother is a doctor. Who wouldn't want to be part of that family. Let's just hope that Eli plays good so we don't feel like they paid him too much for no reason.

Reggie Bush Cheated on Kim Kardashian

So rumors has it that Reggie Bush had a side chick when he was dating Kim Kardashian. The other woman Carmen Ortega, a Miami model, said that she and Reggie had a thing for like 3 months while he was still with Kim. She also stated that Kim was also creeping on Reggie during their relationship. See at first I didn't what to believe, but Carmen said that she has proof of their relationship. On Lip Service, Carmen said that she had a sex tape with them together and she might let it out, she doesn't know yet.

But that's not even the worst part of it all, Carmen says that Reggie is cheaper than cheap. I always thought that the side chick got more than the main chick, but I was wrong. She said on Lip Service (I love Lip Service I must say), that he never gave her anything except plane tickets and dinner but that's all (like a hoe, feed her first, then take her home). She also said that when she asked for a simple thing from him, that's when they started to drift apart and ever since then they don't talk to each other anymore.

Now Reggie you see if you just bought her stuff and treated her like a true side chick, maybe all of this wouldn't have happened. But don't get me wrong, I love all of this so thanks for creeping with a chick that's trying to get known. But, the crazy thing about this is that most people out there right now are saluting Reggie (I know I am), for getting two chicks. Thank God you didn't catch anything from one of them (not naming any names, but it's not Kim).

So after the break up, Kim went blond (which I hate so much), and I do know that Kim still loves Reggie for a fact and wants him back. But, then I was hearing that the whole relationship was legit at first, but then ended up as just publicity. Supposedly, the relationship was over a while ago, but they continued to be together because of a paid trip to Africa and they didn't want to give the money back for it. I just hope that's not true at all, I pray it's not.

I really don't care what people think about the relationship personally. I want Reggie to grow up and Kim to slow down, so they can finally be together and get married and have kids. The problem to me is that Kim is rushing things a little too much for Reggie and Reggie is not ready for all that Kim is asking for. Yeah Kim is older than Reggie, but she needs to understand that his a professional athlete and athletes has other things on their mind. It takes time to get married, falling love not so much, but marriage yes it does. Reggie loves her, but he's not ready to marry her, and Kim need to accept that. Also I just hope that all this Carmen Ortega drama doesn't get in between their future together. Maybe Kim should have never admitted that they were dating, you do a Jay-Z and Beyonce on our ass, then maybe it will work.

Michael Vick Signed to the Philadelphia Eagles

Michael Vick has been very optimistic that he would be back, but he knew it would be a long process; so after almost three years of no football, yesterday made it official of him being back and Michael Vick is now with the Philadelphia Eagles. I mean who thought he would be playing for the Eagles, from all the teams that were interested and not interested in him, the Eagles were the last team on our mind. He signed a contract for two years, stating that he will be getting paid $1.6 million in the first year and the second year with a team option of $5.2 million, but none of the money is guaranteed so the Eagles are at no financial risk if Mike doesn't make the team. The Eagles and Mike has been talking since last week, but started negotiating about a contract since Monday after backup quarterback Kevin Kolb got injured, and yesterday they made it official.


But not a lot of people are happy with this; Bill Smith founder of Main Line Animal Rescue in the Philadelphia suburbs, said he will be renting three billboards near the Eagles' stadium blasting the signing of Vick.

"I'm really shocked that he's coming to Philadelphia. He kept talking about second chances. His dogs didn't have a second chance...There are a lot out there who deserve second chances more than Michael Vick," Smith stated.

Also the Philadelphia Daily news blasted the Eagles for the decision that they made in their headlines for today's edition stating "Hide Your Dogs" and "What Are They Thinking?" Also a national group said it would be watching to see if Michael Vick backs up what he pledges.

The owner of the Eagles, Jeffrey Lurie, said he did serious "soul searching" regarding Mike. Lurie said he met with Mike for hours and was convinced he can become a force in stopping animal cruelty.

"I needed to see a lot of self-hatred in order to approve this," Lurie said.

Lurie also said if he doesn't see Mike being proactive in working with the community and the Humane society, then his signing would be a "terrible decision."

"There is no third chances and we know that. If it isn't fulfilled the way we expect it to be, then it will be the end," Lurie said.

But don't think Donovann McNabb will feel threatened with this signing. No, McNabb has been talking to the front office asking them if it was possible to get Mike on the team. McNabb and Mike has been friends for a while now and McNabb believes that Mike deserves a second chance and thinks being with the Eagles would also help the team become better.

Head coach of the Eagles, Andy Reid, called Mike "one of the greatest quarterbacks" in the league two years ago. With McNabb being the starting quarterback no matter what, Mike will have to look at playing another position. The best scenario I could think about is that the Eagles will use him to play the Wildcat offense that the Miami Dolphins made popular last season. But Coach Reid still has not said how he will use Mike.

"I will say, though, that he will contribute. You can ask defense coordinators on other teams if they're worried about that," Reid stated.

But I must say, all of this would have not happened if it was for former head coach, Tony Dungy. Dungy now mentor and advisor of Mike truly did helped Mike get where he is right now. Without Dungy visiting Mike in prison and saw that he is remorseful about what he has done and is a changed man, we would have never believed him and the commissioner would have probably not let him back in the league so soon. I love the fact that Dungy gives people another chance and sees things in people that we would not take the time to see.

"I really got the sense he wanted to do some great things. He wanted to be a positive role model for young people. He wanted to get back to his family," Dungy stated.

Mike has three kids, a seven year-old boy, a four year-old girl (and like he said going on fourteen), and a one year-old girl; he also has a fiance. Don't worry everybody, Mike will keep his number while playing in Philadelphia.

So in his condition of being reinstated, Mike will be able to play in the last two preseason game and be allowed to do everything with the team except play in the games until week 6. I'm happy that Mike is back and will finally get to play and show his skills and prove that he hasn't missed a beat. I only wish the best for him. I really really want the Eagles to win the Super Bowl this season now. McNabb, Westbrook, and Mike needs ring. Can't wait til the last two preseason games to see

how he is, and he comes back playing against the Washington Redskins, can't wait for that also. I wish he was playing for the Miami Dolphins, but this works too. :)

Joe Budden get's punched by Raekwon from the WU TANG

So this is an interesting story to me, rapper Joe Budden was doing his online show when Raekwon from the Wu Tang Clan, came up to him and confronted him.The people that were with Raekwon were carrying cameras with them and got it all on tape.

Well before I continue this beef all started when Joe Budden was doing an interview and said he was a batter rapper than Method Man (nigga wished he was). Members of the Wu Tang Clan took it into offense and have been threatening Joe on youtube ever since. So, while Raekwon and Joe was 'talking', a fist flew and hit Joe in the eye real HARD.

Now you gotta go on youtube and check out the videos..I would love to post it on my blog but I I I would post the video on my blog but I a whole lot safer not to for some crazy reason.The best advice I have for Joe Budden is to just drop everything and act like nothing happened. I mean it's the Wu Tang Clan, to me they are like a gang or a mafia of their own. I would never mess with them or anyone associated with them. Hell Joe started it, never say something that you can't back up. Whoever told you that you are better than Method Man lied to you real bad. So, Joe until you come out with a shit album, shut up and stay in the studios or whatever you do before the Wu Tang comes back and leave you looking worse thatn Chris Brown left Rihanna.

Dwight Howard Pictures

Orlando Magics center Dwight Howard has been a victim of nude pictures hitting the net. He is the first guy that I have heard of but he still a victim. His lawyer stated that the picture is not him and that it was doctored (which I have no idea what that means). I'm just saying that if it true and it is truly him, then he shouldn't be ashamed of the picture. Now I see why a lot of ladies in Orlando and Atlanta are fighting over him. The only reason I see why he wouldn't want this picture of his nice manhood out would be because he's such a great guy with a "Christian" mind, but he's just 23 turning 24 years-old and he will make mistakes. Not only is he young but he's a famous athlete that is in the public eye.

Well here's the picture I just hope I don't get introuble for posting this..lol: That is so nasty (in a good way). I was expecting it to be bigger, but that still works for me. ;)

I love Dwight no matter what, he's still a great center and will be the best center in the NBA. These pictures won't hurt him at all; I wish him luck and I still love and support him no matter what people say and think. But I must say nice..I want to know if someone took the picture or did he take it? I mean if it's real.
